August 7, 2020 at 10:27
Hello mr simon.
I’m a dv lottery winner for 2021, i already submitted ds260. My case number is around 32 thousands.
My passport will expire in 26th August 2022. What will happen if my passport doesn’t meet this requirement( a valid passport for each applicants, minimum passport validity of 12 months is required) before the embassy interview.
1- can i renew my passport before the interview, after they scheduled?
Mr Simon please answer me, it ruins my life I’m always think about it, tell me what should i do, the best way to do.
I will be very thankful.
August 7, 2020 at 18:41
You can renew your passport – just keep proof of the old one and be prepared to show that with documents and at the interview.
August 8, 2020 at 10:06
Dear brit, can you share with us information about passport validity in each stage ?
August 8, 2020 at 22:23
Please be less vague.
August 8, 2020 at 23:03
Meant to ask about passport validity dates in general , travel.state website only mention validity 6 months beyond intended travel date ( in the interview stage.)
August 9, 2020 at 19:23
That is still not a clear question – and I have no time to waste. Use google.
August 7, 2020 at 21:20
Hello,
From where did you get the information about the passport validity can you please share , cause i have seen 6 months i just wanna make sure
August 8, 2020 at 10:22
Sorry but you said you passport will empire 2022 so what is a problem then?
August 7, 2020 at 11:11
Simon, are you able to provide any information which says that proclamation from 11th March does not affect issuing visa? Embassy refuse to extend visa because of this proclamation (which basically ban the travel, not the visa am I right?) but they still refuse and I do not know what to do.
August 7, 2020 at 18:43
There was a later ban that has stopped the issuance of visas. That ban is being challenged and we hope to have an answer in the next week or so.
August 8, 2020 at 10:39
Hi, yes I know but my embassy told me that this later ban does not affect me because my visa was issued before 23 of April. They told me that ban from 11 march affects me and because of this travel ban they cannot issue a visa?? What do you recommend to respond to them? I am really confused
August 8, 2020 at 22:24
You are not being clear – so I cannot help.
August 10, 2020 at 09:40
Hi, So basically they told me that they cannot extend my immigrant visa because of ban from 11th of March. I thought that this ban affect only travel, but they have told me that they cannot extend my visa because my country is in Schangen area. (I told them that before entering US I will spend 14 days in other non schengen country) So can you advise? How this ban from 11 of March has impact on issuing visa when there is still possibility to request for ESTA for example.. I do not know how to respond to them. They told that immigration ban does not affect me because my visa was issued before but unfortunately travel ban from 11 of March stop them and they cannot issue visas when the ban is in place..
August 10, 2020 at 16:41
I’m aware that several embassies are handling this the same way – and seem to have support from State. – So, you can continue to argue that with them or hope the March 11 ban is removed in time.

Hello Brit, my husband used to work on a ship for 2 years ,what should we write the address that time ???
*knowing He was living on the ship (9 months on then he get down from the ship for 3 months) and didn’t had a residence on any country he entered he only had seaman service book to enter the countries
August 7, 2020 at 18:44

August 7, 2020 at 15:01

August 7, 2020 at 16:39
Hello Simon.
My name is Miriam, I’m peruvian but actually I’m living in India. I’ve received the mail from KCC regarding to send the supporting documents. I have doubts for birth certificate and police certificate, because I can get it online but i dont know if this will be valid to send. Please can you suggest me on this? Or will it be fine if I get it online?
August 7, 2020 at 19:14
I have no experience of the Peruvian system – so I don’t know what document that will achieve. The birth cert should be “unabridged” meaning a full copy – complete with details for both parents as registered.
August 7, 2020 at 19:28
Thank you. God blesses you for all your help to us.
August 10, 2020 at 02:49
Hi Miriam, congratulation for becoming DV Selectee. My question is the Birth Certificate that you will get online, isn’t it in Spanish? You need to translate it into English by a sworn translator. I am a foreigner in Peru and also DV 2021 Selectee, so I need to translate all my required documents into English before I send to KCC.
August 10, 2020 at 10:42
Hi Marlia Thank you. Also congratulations! Yes, before i was thinking just to receive it online and I would translate it in the place where I live but maybe there would be problems with appostille so my family will do from Peru all this documents that I require.
August 7, 2020 at 17:25
Hi Brit.
I have a visa which expire on 18/8/2020,and i would wish to extend its expiry date. My quesition is, what will happen if it expire before i reach out embasy since they are not operating normally.
August 7, 2020 at 19:35
As of right now most embassies are NOT extending visas due to the ban on immigrants. There is a challenge going through the courts now – but if you have any way to travel before the deadline, you should do that.
August 9, 2020 at 09:10
He told you already direct flight je better. And at your place I won’t wait for extending. You may regret it.
August 7, 2020 at 17:37
hello Mr Simon,
I noticed that I have miss spelt one letter from my father’s (middle ) name which is written in my native language when filling the ds-260
1 .should I unlock the ds-260 and correct it?
August 7, 2020 at 19:36
That is not very important, but assuming you are DV2021 you have time to correct it – so you should do so.
August 7, 2020 at 18:09
Hello Brit,
I am DV 2021 winner AS110XX. Currently, I am in the US on F1, my wife and two of my kids are on an F2 visa. I also have a U.S. citizen child. I am going to AOS process and my questions are:
1. In the DS 260 what should be my answer for the question “Is your child immigrating to the U.S. with you” for my U.S. citizen child?
2. My wife and my children passports has been renewed in 2020. Should I use the new passport number and keep the old passport during interview?
3. I am here in the U.S. for the first time. What should by my answer for the question “Have you ever been in the U.S.? ”
Thank you very much for your time.
August 7, 2020 at 19:39
1. No
2. Yes
3. No.
In realty you should not be filing the DS260 at this time. It is an optional step for AOS, and given your case number there is no need to be submitting it right now. You could submit it later – but with your case number that won’t be useful for months.
August 7, 2020 at 18:21
Hi brits, I am a blogger too… I just have a question different from your website topic, my question is which web hosting do you use ? I will appreciate your response
August 7, 2020 at 19:41
That isn’t something I would publish – but there are many hosting services you can use.
August 7, 2020 at 19:55
Hi Brit, I hope you are doing well!. I have watched the last video of Curtis Morrison in his site, and he said something that may help, which is to write to the congress members of DV winners states about the DV case.
What do you think about that?
August 7, 2020 at 20:39
I’m not sure this is high on their to do lists. Also, the vast majority of DV winners are not in the USA. But there is no harm in doing it.
August 7, 2020 at 20:54
Hi Brit,I am not sure if you were able to see my question,So I am asking for a friend,He is trying to open the the Ds 260 to fill it out, but when he puts all the information it doesn’t open and says the case number is unavailable ,what should he do?, thanks
August 7, 2020 at 21:44
I answered you…
August 7, 2020 at 22:15
Hi simon I have a question here
Back when I were entering to participate at the DV program I made a mistake,so I am a refugee with proper documentation from UNHCR living in another country so instead of choosing Beneficiary of individual waiver I choose National of a Communist-controlled country and unable to obtain passport, because at that time i had no idea of beneficiary of individual waiver mean, and even though my government never give its own citizens passport, i am not sure if my government is communist or socialist, so I am worried if i I had gave wrong info. So do you think the co could understand and forgive me of this?
August 8, 2020 at 00:11
I don’t know.
August 7, 2020 at 22:58
Hi Brit, my name is AL-KINANI , MOHAIMEN S***H M***I dv 2021 winner as, the question is when i trying to complete ds 260 when i put surname (AL-KINANI) he does not accept – character , can i use (AL KINANI) with space in fulling ds260 when my passport is (AL-KINANI) ? thanks for your great website .
August 8, 2020 at 00:13
Yes
August 8, 2020 at 03:04
thanks brit
Now my next question is, am suppose to travel remaining how days for visa to expiry.
August 8, 2020 at 22:13
Huh? Please be clear.
August 8, 2020 at 03:31
Thank you for your response.
1. If I answer No for the question (i.e. In the DS 260 what should be my answer for the question “Is your child immigrating to the U.S. with you” for my U.S. citizen child?) the following question pops up as “Is your child migrating to the U.S. at a later date to join you” the answer for this one should also be no. Right?
2. You are right I am not going to submit DS 260 right now. I am just trying to complete and review it now and submit maybe around October of November 2020. Right?
August 8, 2020 at 22:14
1. Correct.
2. That’s OK.
Make sure you click reply to keep connected questions together.
August 9, 2020 at 01:45
Thank you so much. I am trying to hire an attorney/lawyer to review my application (i-485, i-944, etc) and make sure everything is accurate. Do you think Mom will do that? I have left her a message yesterday she has not replied to that.
Regards,
August 9, 2020 at 19:29
Mom is not a lawyer but will give you better information than an immigration attorney. But if you need someone to do it for you, hire a lawyer.
August 8, 2020 at 03:32
Brit ,
I wanted to have a look on my ds 260 education part. How can i do that because I have already submitted that
August 8, 2020 at 22:14
Log back in to the DS260 and review it.
August 8, 2020 at 07:58
Hi Brit,
I have two questions,
1. Could you please tell me, my kid is one an half years old, Can I take a passport for 3 years for him
2. In the DS-260 application ‘ Any one who reside in US address and numbers. Is it mandatory to be filled. Cant’ we skip that and go to the next
August 8, 2020 at 22:17
1. I don’t understand your question – but note – I don’t know passport procedures in every country in the world.
2. I’m struggling to understand you.
August 8, 2020 at 08:17
Hi Brit
I am a winner of the Dv 2021 my case number is AF19XXX. I have a concern that I would like to share with you.
I lost the passport of which I played the DV lottery, I had written to the KCC to unlock my ds 260 in order to change the number of this passport.
I had two passports in my possession, the old one that I lost and the new one. the old one is the one for which I registered for the DV.It is still valid until 05/08/2022 and the new passport is valid until 09/02/2024.
The difference between these two passports is that the old one is national and not biometric, while the new one is regional and biometric. I had both passports before participating in the DV.
The new one was issued to me on 09/03/2019. My question is the following:
1- I would like to know if the fact that I unlocked my ds 260 to change the passport number I played (lost passport) to put the number of the new passport could penalize me during the interview ?
2 – Should I send a photocopy of the lost passport as well as a scan of the bio page of the new passport whose number I have mentioned in my ds 260 in the list of documents to send to the KCC?
3 – Should I when sending the documents write a short letter explaining to the KCC why the passport number in my ds 260 differs from the passport number of the initial entry to the DV?
Brit for the love of God, I beg you to leave me an answer, these questions torment me, I do not sleep well at night. Thank you in advance, almighty God bless you for everything you have been doing since 2013 to guide us.
August 8, 2020 at 22:19
Man – what a lot of melodrama over a simple thing.
Provide proof of both the old and new passports when you send documents and at interview. That’s all.
August 8, 2020 at 08:33
Hello Brit,
I an a DV2021 winner. Here are my questions:
1-My husband and I are both doctors retiring within 2 years. What should our answer to the question:”Are you a graduate of a foreign medical school seeking to perform medical services in the US but have not yet passed the National Board of Medical Examiners examination or its equivalent?”be?Is it OK to say “yes” and explain we seek to perform medical services if we pass the exams?
2-I have a daughter who is 28 and lives with us. She is going to apply for a visa to come to the US to study later. What should I answer:”Is this child immigrating to the US at a later date to join you?”
Many thanks.
August 8, 2020 at 22:20
1. Yes
2. No
August 8, 2020 at 08:48
Hello Brit , i’ve question. When I submitted DS -I only mentioned two social networks but actually I’m using more than two. And how can I fix it ? thanks in advance
August 8, 2020 at 22:20
Unlock the DS260 and correct it. Read the FAQ
August 8, 2020 at 23:33
Hi brit,Glad if you could help me out with few questions
1) at initial entry i entered city of birth unknown because my passport doesn’t mention it, when i asked my father he gave me the city name, do you advice to correct it in the ds form or leave it unknown( knowing there was no check box like (do not know) in birth city)
2) social media identifier, so when you google facebook id for example it gives you steps how to obtain it, is this what they mean by social media id or my public name on facebook (ex: Brit Simon but your user name could be (Brit.simon.1) or the email address?
3) if you also visit travel.state they have a ds 260 form sample but i think it old because it shows petitioners and last step after e-sign it says next step is to visit nvc.state.gov to send financial and civil documents, is that applicable for dv lottery?
https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/DS-260-Exemplar.pdf
4)fees are paid at the interview only correct?
August 9, 2020 at 19:26
1. Surely – it is listed on your birth certificate? The DS260 should be accurate.
2. Use your own judgement.
3. No
4. Yes – and at the medical.
August 9, 2020 at 19:36
Thanks simon
And no the birth city is not mentioned on my birth certificate nor passport “it’s only my dad detailed information”, so in my first application for dv i just wrote unknown shall I proceed the same or go with more details ?
August 9, 2020 at 19:51
You should decide then.
August 9, 2020 at 02:56

Am not winner but just share a friend’s expérience because she wanted to extend:
Good afternoon
Thank you for your email. We understand your concern regarding visas and travel during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Please refer to the Department of State’s website on visa restrictions, which provides the latest information on Presidential Proclamations that may impact your travel. These travel restrictions do not apply to U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents (green card holders), and other individuals specifically identified in these proclamations. In light of the complexity of current restrictions, the U.S. Embassy in Dakar suggests visa-holding travelers consider flying to the United States without transiting a country in the European Union, Schengen Area, the United Kingdom, or Ireland.
Best wishes,
Dakar Immigrant Visa Unit

Good morning mr Simon
1, can you University no degree mean currently in university?
August 9, 2020 at 22:40
Yes
August 9, 2020 at 21:36
Dear Simon
I’m DV2021 winner with very low CASE number 6XX, I already submitted my DS260 and within 5 days I received a message asking me to upload supporting documents.
my questions:
– how long after submitting the documents I should expect the interview message,
– which month most likely I will have my interview.
– what will happen if the embassy in my country is currently not making interviews due to COVID19 situation.
Thanks
August 9, 2020 at 22:44
Well the ban and the per country COVID question makes it impossible to answer your questions. Its also not helped by you not giving the region.
As of today there will be no DV2021 interviews until January – but that could change if the ban challenge is successful.
August 9, 2020 at 23:20
Country is KUWAIT, region ASIA
August 9, 2020 at 23:19
Hi Simon
I had just received an email from KCC (Further DV Documents Required).Should I make changes to my ds-260 form at this point ( specifically job experience)? Or this could delay my case. thanks for your help.
August 9, 2020 at 23:45
Corrections don’t cause delay.
August 10, 2020 at 02:31
Hi.
I am wondering how soon after entering the US can you travel internationally. I have a wedding to attend in July and afraid that once I enter the US, there is a waiting period before I can travel and won’t be able to attend the wedding in my home country.
Thank you.
August 10, 2020 at 16:56
There is no waiting period.
August 10, 2020 at 03:05
Hi Simon, I put my trusted friend home address as my mailing address in DS-260. He is in North Carolina, but I plan to live in Los Angeles. When I arrive in US (Port of Entry) better to keep my friend address as my mailing address (my friend will receive my GC on my behalf ) or do I need to change into my temporary address in Los Angeles (I plan to rent Airbnb for 28 days)? Thank you.
August 10, 2020 at 16:56
Keep your friend’s address.

August 10, 2020 at 16:56
I haven’t heard of anyone with a visa that expired that early. You were leaving the activation quite late. However, I’m not clear why the embassy are saying they won’t re-issue the visa – so all I can suggest is that you hire a local lawyer to argue for you.
August 10, 2020 at 05:47
Hello Simon, My Case is AS21-8xxx. I have a question on filling ds 260 for my son about (mother surnames at birth ds 260). My wife surnames was Z before marriage and now after marriage her surname is Y.
I submitted the DS-260 of my son with mother surname of Z.
1- Is this surname incorrect ?
2- Should I unlock DS-260 to revise it ?
August 10, 2020 at 16:51
1. I don’t know. It would normally be what is listed on the childs’ birth cert/passport – but I don’t know standards in your country.
2. See 1.
August 10, 2020 at 09:33
Hi Brit, I hope you are doing well. I would like to have your point of view on this question. In my ds 260 this question was asked to me: do you have the documents showing that you have been vaccinated in accordance with American laws?
I answered yes, because it is after the medical examination that I will have these documents.
I would like to know if my answer to this question (yes) would not cause a problem since I have no document currently but I would have some after the medical examination.
Thank you in advance for your answer
August 10, 2020 at 16:42
Your answer is incorrect – BUT that doesn’t matter – its not important.
August 10, 2020 at 09:40
Sir,please i am a 2020 winner and have sent all my scanned documents and was ready for schedule. Just to know if the president proclamation have completely ban it because the limited deadline is 30 september 2020

Dear Brit,
My passport expires on July 2021. Is there a problem if I submit the DS260 with this current passport and sending the photocopy of this current passport along with other documents, after that renewing my passport to be ready for the interview?
My plan is showing up for the interview with the new passport, while I sent ONLY the old passport as a supporting document. Is that okey?
August 10, 2020 at 16:39
It’s OK.
August 10, 2020 at 10:18
Hi Simon,
My place of birth on the passport and ds260 form is the same i.e District XX in Nyanza province. But my birth certificate reads the District of birth as YY in the same province. YY is a subdivision from XX.
Will this be a major issue at the interview? [AF2021]
Thanks a lot
August 10, 2020 at 16:37

Listing a derivative without legal standing (i.e. listing a spouse when you are not actually married), can technically cause denial. But the CO has some discretion about that. So – if you want to proceed and take your chances, make sure you marry as soon as possible.
The interview will be scheduled based on the present address of the main applicant.

Hi Simon, Thanks for your great work !! My husband won DV2021 & case number is AS14XXX .In which month is the best for submit the DS260 ?
August 10, 2020 at 16:34
Anytime from now is OK.
August 10, 2020 at 14:00
Hi Simon. Thank you for your help.
I have got a question. Please I’m dv selectee FY2021 with case number AF5xxx.
I have filled my DS-260 form and received documents submission email a couple of weeks ago.
I have submitted the required documents and currently awaiting documents confirmation email from KCC.
Unfortunately my friend in the US whose address I used on my DS-260 form just inform me he might be moving out of his apartment to a new place and I don’t want to gamble with my green card.
Please I would like to know, if at this point I can ask KCC to Unlock my DS-260 form to enable me change the address to a completely new one without delaying my case and raising any questions about my case?
Thank you.
August 10, 2020 at 16:33
You can unlock and change that address now, or you can update it at the interview.
August 10, 2020 at 17:06
Sir.. with all due respect. Please which option would you recommend?
The last time I unlock my ds-260 form. I got another email asking for supporting documents submission even though I received the same email two weeks ago.
Right now I’m just waiting for documents confirmation email from KCC and I fear the unlocking would mean receiving and having to submit those documents again and waiting weeks or months for documents confirmation.
August 10, 2020 at 17:34
You can choose.
August 10, 2020 at 22:10
Which option would be best in your opinion? I would really appreciate your input. Thanks a lot.
August 10, 2020 at 14:43
Thank you Simon for your previous answer regarding volunteer work. It was very helpful and make sense. If I may ask you one last question please, this time regarding the police report.
I lived in another country as a tourist for more than 12 months cumulatively, but not consecutively (I followed their 6 month entry allowance and exited/re-entered) would I need to submit a police report or could we assume that it is for residents given the time? Is it judged on your visa status or place residence? Thank you in advance for your advice.
August 10, 2020 at 16:32
If in doubt, get the police cert to avoid a delay later.
August 10, 2020 at 16:16
Hi, Simon.
Is it true that that a “non-conviction” / police certificate which was issued anytime in the past (e.g. 2011) will still be valid if I didn’t visit that country since 2010?
thanks
August 10, 2020 at 17:01
Yes – that is how COs will normally handle it. However, if you cannot show that you did not re-enter the country, the safest approach would be to get a new police cert.

Hi BritSimon
Hope you doing very well in your daily life
Really I want to get the idea clearly about this info that I’m going to tell you now,

Be like 6500, 2end like 7500, 3ed like 8000 and 4th like 6000,
According to these data
Is that mean the last CN which be ready and available for the interview is 28K and mean my CN also available at the 4th month ??
2. If the system of VB and The CN’s availability INTERVIEW go like that, Can we get the last CN of all religion According th the VB data of all past Viscal Years ??
For be clear, I have read and seen your contents about VB and I still be sure about the idea that I got or be corrected
With my respect
August 10, 2020 at 16:59
1. No. https://britsimonsays.com/read-visa-bulletin/
2. I don’t have that to hand.
Your number is quite high. Whether it is too high or not depends on how many selectees have been selected. WE hope to know those numbers when the next VB is published in a few days.

For the benefit of others reading this:
Abukenan showed me screenshots of printed visas. But each case number has the derivative number added as the last two characters – which gave him the impression the number was higher than it was. So – 2017AF101XX was written as 2017AF101XX01 – but really should be thought of as 2017AF101XX 01 (01 being the principal).

Hi brit, I thank you for all answers to my concerns. Nevertheless, I have one last concern, which is:
In my DS260 the address I mentioned is the address where I grew up since birth until today.
This address is different from the address of the parents’ home mentioned in my birth certificate when my parents had made the birth declaration in 1990.
I was born on 06 January 1990 at 45 Avenue Paris France (Addrese in the birth certificate) but after my birth on January 20, 1990 I have grew up in The address at which I mentioned in my DS260.
It is my true address but the one in the birth certificate is the address where the parents lived when they made the declaration of my birth.
1- I would like to know if the fact that the address in my DS260 is different from the parents’ address in my birth certificate is a problem?
NB: I remind you that the two addresses are in the same city (Paris) and that it is at the address mentioned in my DS 260 that I had my 16 years
Thanks you Brit for a answer

Hi,
My name is hesham and i got my visa printed. Unfortunately, I couldn’t travel because of the pandemic and my visa got expired on the 21st of July 2020. I have booked 4 tickets 2 of which got canceled and other two got Stuck in the transit airports. So i really tried but due to the pandemic I couldn’t. Anyway, I contacted the American embassy in bahrain asking to extend my visa especially in the basis with the latest updates of which there is one month extension of the medical exam according to travel.state website. I got the feeling they procrastinate to lose time.
After long communications via emails with embassy, they told me that they have booked an appointment on the 17th of august. On other hand, they said in the email that i have to redo the medical exam and IF in the appointment everything Was ok, they would give me validation until 21st of august which is only 4 days. Also they said if there was AP in the upcoming appointment, they don’t guarantee to process it before the 21st of august. Anyway, I contacted the only recognized hospital for the medical exam that i want to make it. They refused because i don’t have the confirmation letter, i have only the email which they have said about the appointment. So what do you recommend me to do ? I told the embassy i want to take this chance and remake the interview even if its big risk but they still did not reply to me.
Please help me what should i do? Shall i take the chance if it’s confirmed by them? Or shall i wait for the results of the lawsuits? Because i have another fear that after the lawsuits the visa may be reissued easily but because i got the second chance i may not be entitled for it.
This the email that they have sent:
“Hi Hesham,
We can accommodate your appointment on Monday, August 17 at 9:00 am. Please confirm that works for you. Keep in mind, it’s always possible your case may require administrative processing. If your visa already expired, then you will also need to redo your medical exam. All this to say, we cannot guarantee your visa would be processed before August 21. Please advise if you would still like to move forward with that appointment.
Best,
Consular Section
U.S. Embassy Manama
KC”
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you,
Hesham

Can you tell me what’s your case number?
August 10, 2020 at 20:54
With or without the lawsuit you would have to do the same process. So don’t wait to sort this out.
Now – you are probably confused about the 21st August. I don’t understand why you think that is a deadline. If you get a new medical, your visa validity can be much longer than that. So – you need to study more carefully what they have said.
Finally about flights, you cannot connect through the Schengen area of EU or UK.

August 10, 2020 at 20:55
Hi,
I have won a DV lottery for 2021, my case number is 2021OC25XX.
I submitted my DS-260 by 13th June and today I received email from KCC to say that I should send all the documents which I will in the next few weeks.
They also send this as a note in the email I received today – “ You will only be scheduled for interview at an overseas consular post after you have completed your DS-260 and submitted all documents required for your case and your visa rank number has become current.”
I have 2 questions here –
1. Can I take upto 7-8 weeks to submit the docs as it asks for police clearance certificates for each of the country. To get PCC from my native May be a challenge and time consuming hence thinking it might take me up to 2 months to send all the docs.
2. In the note they sent, they mentioned after you have submitted DS-260(which I already did) and documents(which I will do within next 8 weeks), you will be scheduled for interview once your *visa tank number has become current*? What does this mean?
Thanks,
AJ
August 10, 2020 at 21:44
1. Yes
2. It refers to your case number. Interviews are spread over the full year, starting with the lowest number ranges in the region, and ending with the highest. Your number is very high, so you will not get an interview until late summer 2021. For that reason, there is no need to rush your documents – as the rank number rules…
August 10, 2020 at 22:10
Thank you Simon.
1. Just so I don’t assume, when you say summer 2021 , you are referring to Summer in United States? It Will be around July-Aug 2021 next year then?
2. If my case number is very high and I gathered that chances of me getting an interview is very low , does that mean I should NOT continue with my application? Or, you suggest I should continue to do all the steps that is necessary and leave it to the fate?
Regards,
Dharti
August 10, 2020 at 23:06
1. Yes
2. It is too early to know whether your number has a chance. So – wait until we know more over the coming weeks.
