I am concerned about the remaining weeks in DV2019. If you are already interviewed, or scheduled for interview, there is no need to be worried, but my impression is that there are still a lot of cases that want interviews that are not scheduled. I want to make sure that at least my readers know what to do in the coming weeks, and I don’t want to have to repeat this 1000 times to each question. This article ONLY refers to DV2019, it does NOT affect DV2020 selectees at all. If you are DV2019, please read this article to the end, and read it twice or three times if you don’t understand. It should cover every scenario and every question you could have. I really hope so…
First, I want to apologize to the staff at KCC if this post increases your call volume – but this is too important an opportunity to miss for most people, so I am being cautious on their behalf.
This is a busy time at KCC. They have started receiving DV2020 cases and calls, and the regions just went current. I have described a “flood” of work they are dealing with, and there is a certain amount of chaos going on due to the new document procedure.
Some 2NLs have already gone out for July, and more will go out before this month ends. Those interviews will be being arranged already. Calling them will not make KCC arrange an interview that wasn’t already being arranged. So – if KCC have your DS260, and you are certain they have processed your documents prior to the beginning of May (approximately), then there is no need to call KCC.
You can be sure that KCC have your documents if you have received an email that says something like “Records indicate You have submitted a complete and valid DS260 for each family member, and You have provided all required documentation to the Kentucky Consular Center.” We can call this the ready for scheduling email. If you got that email prior to May, you will expect your 2NL later this month (if you don’t already have it). There is a chance your embassy is too full for July, so some cases will be moved to August. That’s OK. No need to panic if you got that ready for scheduling email.
For other scenarios. Maybe you have not submitted yiour DS260 or documents, maybe you submitted your documents but have not received the ready for scheduling email. In those cases, read on.
If you have never submitted your DS260, you might still be able to do that and get an interview this year, but you need to do that in the next few days. You would then have to submit documents later, and all of that must happen by the end of June at the latest.
If you have never submitted documents to KCC, you must do that now. They may not have asked you to do so yet, but in any case you must send them. The instructions for sending the documents are in this article. Make sure you send the documents needed, just those documents listed, and in the format they describe. The instructions are very clear, no need to ask me anything if you simply read the instructions. Make sure you send it to the correct email address and your case number is shown as they instruct.
If you have submitted documents, even months ago, but have never got the ready for scheduling email, then you should email KCC with your case number and ask them if they are satisfied with your documents. I do not think the ready for scheduling email is strictly necessary as a part of the process, BUT I don’t want you to sit there and wait thinking things are OK when in fact they are not. By the way, you may have received the auto reply when you submitted. That in itself does NOT mean your documents were OK. It is simply an automatic response from a computer when you send an email. When you email them asking if they are satisfied with the documents KCC will respond within a few days, either with the ready for scheduling email OR with an email that says something like your DS260 is processing, or documents are required. If they say anything like that, send your documents again, and then wait a week at least and then ask them again if they are satisfied.
I am aware of cases where the DS260 was submitted many months ago but KCC respond that they are still processing the DS260. That is simply a “go away and stop bothering me” email. Parents will know what I mean. It is simply a way to stop you pestering them. DS260s do not take months to process. I don’t want any of you to waste KCC time with unnecessary questions, because we need KCC to spend their time doing their work on scheduling cases, rather than answering your sillier questions because you are not using common sense. However, I also want to make sure none of you miss out. Well almost none of you. A couple of you have worn out even my patience…
Just a point about timing. If you are not already ready for scheduling you will not get a June or July interview. June interviews are all set. July interviews are already allocated to cases that were ready for interview a couple of weeks ago. Some cases that were ready for interview a couple of weeks ago will NOT get July interviews because of individual embassy capacity. Those will get August interviews. But if you only sent documents in the last couple of weeks, you can be sure you will not get a June or July interview. August at the earliest.
KCC will then be scheduling August interviews on as many cases as possible based on cases ready for scheduling by the end of this month or very early next month. Again, individual embassy capacity could result in some cases moving into September.
The final interviews will be in September. Those will be for cases that are ready for scheduling within about 6 weeks from now. That means you ONLY have that window of time to get documents to KCC if they don’t already have satisfactory documents. NOW is the time to be checking they are satisfied with the documents. If you miss that opportunity, you are at risk of not getting an interview at all. NO DV2019 CASE can be interviewed or approved after September 30, 2019. So – please be sure there is no misunderstanding between you and KCC about your documents.
Best of luck to all my readers.

May 27, 2019 at 09:15
Hello Brit,
I am Katanga, a selectee for DIV 2019.The interview already took place but my case is very similar to the one of people who had never been interviewed: I am on administrative processing for over six months now.
How that is possible…? Well even though I read on the net that after submitting all documents at KCC and bringing the necessary to the consulate, the interview itself is a kind of self going, my master degree was kept as they said for education checking. After two weeks I was called for the second interview and had to bring a copy of my high school degree. It was already noticed to have become blur over time at the first interview and the officers said I have to ask for a new one from my home country: I protested I had tried to do so many times over the years and had to give up because of administrative difficulties or lack of time to complete the process. The remark was also made I had after high school two diplomas from different universities in home country and abroad, and the admission to those studies could not be made without the general certificate of education in question. They insisted saying it was needed for the archive and documentation of my case. Many months and lot of money went away to get a certificate confirming I have a high school degree that I presented at the third interview three weeks ago.Upon collecting it the consulate took the corresponding transcript i have always have and decided to check as again, what is till going on.
The medical turned off two weeks ago and the feeling since the unexplained requests of checking almost every education record becomes stronger that it is a kind of “go away and no longer bother me”.Given your experience I need your opinion and advice on the case.I thought at looking for a lawyer, althought it’s expensive and at the end, as authority they can still deceide anything. The feeling of injustice because of process triggering obviously to lose time till the case is over is there. And it works: it’s just four months left now; the new checking of the certificate I have submitted could take months and and least a few weeks should be planned after visa approvation because of other formalities before and at entering, and the new medical coul take one month to six weeks: in september the case would be simply dropped and I could do nothing against.
May 27, 2019 at 14:50
You might have noticed that when people with higher degrees ask me if they should take HS results as well (because they assume a bachelors or masters degree will prove they meet the standard) I ALWAYS warn them to take HS proof to the interview or list that in the DS260. Always. That is because of the way the rules are written, so the embassy are well within procedure to expect you to provide that. If you had prepared correctly you could have saved this delay. Yes you will have to repeat the medical.
May 27, 2019 at 12:29
Hi sir ,
I submitted my ds260 last year and i sent my documents 3 days ago , i didn’t get the “ready for scheduling” message yet ,I just got the automatic reply ,my case nbr AF39***
when should I expect my 2nl ? should I be worried ?
May 27, 2019 at 14:57
It’s been 3 days – and this is a long weekend. PATIENCE!!!!
May 27, 2019 at 22:24
Hi brit i sent my documents with my spouse but i didnt sent marriage certificate should i send it ? Sent 15 days ago and didnt get the ready for sheduling my cn is 2019af44xxx
May 27, 2019 at 22:52
No, but you should check if they are satisfied with your documents.
May 28, 2019 at 01:31
I checked today and got an automatic reply but they did not respond
May 28, 2019 at 02:05
Of course not – today is a holiday – Memorial Day
May 28, 2019 at 11:14
In ds260 I wrote that I have university degree, I tried to fill also the high school but it wouldnt accept or sth else which I cant remember, so I wrote up the university degree and that got accepted (since I also when I applied ticked that I have the university degree)
My question is, if I take the HS diploma with me at interview, will it be a problem because it was not listed in 260?
May 28, 2019 at 14:21
Not normally, no.
May 28, 2019 at 12:40
Hi Brit,
Good day , hw re u ?
Much thanks , I have received my 2NL on the 24th and interview is scheduled for July 30th but I have a problem my child was 20yrs old when I did the original entry but now I just celebrated his 22nd birthday 24th April . Please tell me is he eligible to travel along with me ?
May 28, 2019 at 14:23
No, he has aged out. Once you are in the USA you could start a family based application but it will take a VERY long time (years). So you need to be OK with leaving him behind.
May 28, 2019 at 12:46
Considering that when I was asked to re-submit my documents and when you advise me to unlock my DS-260:to correct my date of birth I indicated that he will travel later but now I have received the appointment for me and my beneficiaries which is my son and he’s above 21 please what will be his chances.? CN AF39
May 28, 2019 at 19:06
Visa bulletin is not current anymore. what happened, did KCC changed their decision? confusing
May 28, 2019 at 19:10
Where are you seeing that?
May 29, 2019 at 09:30
Yes that is true there is nothing about july visa bulletin numbers on the travel state website.
May 29, 2019 at 13:29
Because the JULY VB is not published yet. It never was. Look at the JUNE VB.
May 29, 2019 at 05:11
hi brits my interview is in june 12 but my medical result appointment is after 2 months for further examination if my result is TB positive and start vaccination. i have chance to got visa after september? or i stop my process?
May 29, 2019 at 05:38
No way after September.
May 29, 2019 at 20:33
Hi,Brit
Why did they not ask other diseases(gonorrhea, HB,Chest x ray, syphilis and Aids) on the ds260 like the case of TB
May 29, 2019 at 05:21

May 29, 2019 at 05:40
You need to contact KCC and ask them if they are satisfied with your documents.
May 30, 2019 at 10:04
hi brit,
i am 2019AF30xxx, i receive my 2nd letter in may 24th. My issue is I was filling out my registration interview while i was asked to enter in one field my DS-260 NUMBER which i don’t know where finding it.
Best Regards !!!
May 30, 2019 at 21:19
Open the DS260 online. Navigate through the DS260 to the last page – there you will see the DS260 number.
May 31, 2019 at 06:38
IS the ds260 number referred to as confirmation number coz me to i cant see where its written ds260 No i only see confirmation number.
May 31, 2019 at 13:50
Probably. I cannot see what you see.
May 29, 2019 at 08:17
UPDATE: DS260 submitted in 2018. Supporting docs sent on 15 April 2019. “ready to be scheduled” email received on 02 May 2019.
I called KCC yesterday and they informed me my interview will NOT be in July. Operator said there was not enough time for my docs to be checked in time for July. I don’t know how they schedule their interviews as I have seen some people who received the “OK” email after me and still got scheduled for July.
Anyway, fingers crossed for August.
May 29, 2019 at 10:09
What’s your case number?
May 29, 2019 at 14:30
2019AS12***. I don’t think case numbers have anything to do with that, as we are all current now.
May 29, 2019 at 13:25
As I have mentioned, it is partly when you get your documents processed, but also to do with embassy capacity as well as KCC workload.
May 29, 2019 at 14:37
Correct. For some reason, I was expecting Brussels embassy not to be overwhelmed with interviews, but who knows, maybe it is. Thanks Simon.
May 29, 2019 at 15:21
It is a matter of how many appointments they make available for DV OR as I said – simply the workload of KCC themselves.
May 30, 2019 at 04:46
His Brit
I have 2 questions
1. Can someone with a diplomatic visa fill your i-134 form
2. If some of your derativrs don’t have passports can you send only available documents and explain to them the reason why you can’t send them at the moment through an email
May 30, 2019 at 05:18
1. Ideally not.
2. You can try, but I think it is better to follow instructions.
May 29, 2019 at 11:02
Hi brit cn 2019AF44xxx sent my document on the 15th of may
I send an email 3 days ago to know if they are satisfay with the documents and didn’t get an answer what do you suggeste ?
I would like to have the interview in august
May 29, 2019 at 13:40
Wait a week and ask again.
May 29, 2019 at 11:08
I am from Sierra Leone. DV case number 2019AF46*20, I have sent my document although i did not receive a mail from KCC to do so. Have anybody from sierra leone with case number 46000 and above received a mail from kcc to send their document for further processing? Brit, i have also been sending mail to KCC but they keep on responding that they have received my ds260 and are processing it but no mail of ready to schedule for interview, no update on my status and so on. so whats they way forward?
May 29, 2019 at 13:41
You need to be patient, but persistent. Ask again in a week or so. By phone would be better.
June 1, 2019 at 15:34
I have contacted them by phone but keep on saying they are processing my documents. If all interviews have been set for july we wonder when will ours be.
June 1, 2019 at 16:54
Well, not July…
May 29, 2019 at 13:08
Hi Britsiom
I submitted my DS260 last year June 30, 2018. I send my document on the 15 of May 2019 and I resend it on the 20 of May 2019, I got the auto reply but didn’t get the ” ready for scheduling” email yet. Case number 2019AF00043xxx
NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!!!
May 29, 2019 at 13:42
Contact them by phone.
May 31, 2019 at 09:41
Hi Britsion
I called KCC yesterday to ask about my document, they said that they receive the document and when they are done processing it, they will email me…
June 4, 2019 at 14:52
have you called them again
May 29, 2019 at 15:37
Im from Srilanka. My case Number is 2019AS000087**. I have submit my DS260 in last year may and i have send the all required documents in this year february but still not received 2NL or scheduling mail from KCC.I have asked them two times now regarding my documents but they always send mail about to send required documents to kcc. I have check the mail and documents are they correct. Its correct and what am i do now. Shall i resend my documents or what ?. I have question regarding police certificate. In srilanka i have send it directly to the embassy .but i have send to the kcc application of police certificate. Is it will be the issue. Or what i can do now.
May 29, 2019 at 16:44
Contact KCC and ask them if they are satisfied. If you had not sent them a police cert or an explanation they might have decided your documents were not complete. Take care of this now. Time is running out.
May 29, 2019 at 17:00
Hello laika miracle contact me. Im also sri lankan.
May 30, 2019 at 07:04
Hi Laika,
I think you did it wrongly.
You dont need to send police clearance certificate directly to the embassy.
1 – apply for the police clearance certificate ( you can do it online . – https://eservices.police.lk/ClearanceCertificate/home.action)
2 – After 2 weeks you can get the certificate, then scan it and send KCC
3- Bring the same certificate o the interview
May 30, 2019 at 14:47
Chamil Shall i apply a new police certificate through online again. ? Is it a issue for my Dv case because of I have send them to the directly now.
May 30, 2019 at 16:15
To whom you sent to directly ? USA embassy srilanka ?
That is not the correct procedure. You should collect it your self and scan it and sent to KCC, then bring same same certificate to the interview. If its still not clear you can call me – +6585698640 ( I am in Singapore now)
May 30, 2019 at 17:28
Thanks chamil for your kind corporation. I will contact u , But now im going to apply online police clearance certificate. I choose to print certificate in my passport name but it shows to attach Affidavit. How can I do now ? I think you are correct. I have to take police clearance certificate myself and send it to the KCC first thats why my DV case still not interviewed. So can you please what can i do now .
May 29, 2019 at 19:29
I got my 2NL for july interviews on 24 th of may. My case no is 2019AS110XX. I send my documents to kcc on 20th april and got confirmation on 2nd of may. Thank you brit.
May 29, 2019 at 21:00
How did you send your email. i mean the subject of the email. is it like this 2019AS000011XXX or 2019AS11XXX. I mean does it matter which way you write it. I have sent them the email
mid-April and I have not receive anything back from them. I emailed them and they said nothing about it. I’m really confused. I just emailed them again with both ways.
Thanks
May 29, 2019 at 21:05
I actually have a lower number (2019AS6XXX) and that’s why i’m still confused and scared and losing my hope with this DV thing.
May 30, 2019 at 02:37
subject line is 2019AS000110XX
May 29, 2019 at 22:21
Hello Brit,
Is it customary to see DS260 not yet processed by KCC at such a late date of the year?
My file Ds260 has not been processed yet knowing that I sent it more than 4 months ago.
Do cases like mine still have a chance to get an interview? ( As recommended, I’ve sent my documents even if KCC didn’t invite me to, but their emails keep telling me they are processing my Ds260…)
Thank you for sharing your opinion, although the only thing to do is wait.
Best regards
2019AF45xxxx
May 29, 2019 at 23:32
No it is not “normal” or “customary” – I have been warning for some months now about the chaos I am seeing.
As for what will happen – I don’t know. All I am doing is trying to advise people how to push their cases. I think some people may fall through the cracks, and I would rather that is not readers of my blog.
May 30, 2019 at 01:30
We did as asked but sometimes sadly it is not enough.
In any case, I ( all the readers ) thank you for your kindness and support.
We keep hopping for the best.
May 31, 2019 at 22:56
Hello Brit,
Finally, after an endless waiting and almost a loss of hope, we have received – today -the confirmation mail!
Sending documents before being asked helped our case for sure by saving us few days.
Hope the 2nl will come soon enough, maybe & hoping for August – because the Casablanca consulate is showing a slow pace.
Again, can’t Thank you enough Brit for your most valuable help.
May 31, 2019 at 22:58
Thanks for letting me know. You should have a chance at an August interview.
June 4, 2019 at 17:15
Hi I’m from morroco as well and I’d like to talk with you about the dv if possible , leave your email or facebook to contact you please
May 30, 2019 at 09:11

2.do i have a mechanism to sign in(as i still have correct password)
Thanks for your kind support!!
May 30, 2019 at 21:17
1. Yes. Put the new email on the DS260.
2. You don’t need access to the email for the DS260 etc.
June 4, 2019 at 11:43
Thank you for this website. It’s very helpful.
I submitted the ds260 May 2018. Still didn’t hear from them. I tried contacting them by mail but they keep saying I should just wait for my ds260 to be reviewed. Never got asked for any supporting documentation.
So worried right now. Case number 2019EU00029***. 🙁
June 4, 2019 at 18:58
You can ask them again in a few days. Hopefully soon they will send out the remaining requests for documents.
May 30, 2019 at 11:14
Hello. We have received the email about scanned docs in February and also in Feb we have sent them. We are 2019EU22*** and we do not have 2NL yet. I sent them an email asking about the delay and they answered me that I must send them exact this documents which I had sent in Feb. What the f… is happening? I am very very sad and I worry. Can you help me? What should I do?
May 30, 2019 at 21:19
Follow their instructions. Resend the documents.
May 31, 2019 at 14:32
Hi Brit, I would like to ask what can you do when you applied for Green card and you are asked from the kcc Kentucky to send your documents and hence you have traveled to USA on F1 Visa, how can you deal with that? I need your advice.
Thanks
May 31, 2019 at 16:14
You are not being clear. What is your case number (with year and region)? Have you submitted a DS260? Are you now in the USA on an F1 visa, and if so, when did you enter?
May 31, 2019 at 20:13
Hullo Brit
Thank you for the hard work.
1. Do you think we have chance for August interview.
2. Everytime kcc its answer is one your forms are received allow several weeks for processing.
May 31, 2019 at 22:46
1. I don’t know.
June 1, 2019 at 09:55
Hi Brit thanks for your amazing work. Thanks for helping us. My question is what happened when someone got interviewed before getting medical results ? Infact l have been rescheduled before my previous date, reason l cant get my medical before going to the interview. So my question is according to your experience and knowledge, what can be the scenario. Thanks in advance
June 1, 2019 at 13:35
Depends on the embassy. Typically they just hold the case until medical is available.
June 18, 2019 at 23:49
Hi Brit, hope you re well. After my interview, my Statut got to AP. Is that because l could not bring the medical results to the interview? My second question is , after bringing them the medical results , how long a normal case Statut can be changed to ” issued “. Thanks in advance
June 18, 2019 at 23:55
Yes AP would be because of no medical, but it could also be other reasons.
So – I cannot guess how quick they will issue after they get the medical. Wait and see.
June 1, 2019 at 13:12
hi brit, thank you very much i read your post and apply to kcc and receive valid and complete message from kcc yesterday, I have chance for August interview ?
thank you
June 1, 2019 at 13:45
Maybe.
June 1, 2019 at 13:50
sorry my cn 2019AF00023xxx
June 1, 2019 at 17:44
Going by the data, Why would a case be put on AP even before an Interview?
June 1, 2019 at 18:37
Some embassies do that (Moscow is one example).
June 3, 2019 at 16:30
Please brit help me out, am AF20***, I called kcc today they said they have never received my documents whereas I have sent it twice in November and April. Please I want to ask if my date of birth and my names should be included in the documents while sending, and please should I write the full case number or the zeros should be left out
June 3, 2019 at 18:31
You need to pay attention to the instructions. They are clear. Pay attention and do this right.
June 3, 2019 at 17:44
Hallo..i submitted my documents 1month ago..my no. Is 2019AF00030***..no email has been sent yet,I am worried
June 3, 2019 at 17:47
Sorry,am in kenya
June 3, 2019 at 20:07
You need to contact KCC and see if they are satisfied with your documents – exactly as stated in the article above.
June 3, 2019 at 18:10
Hey Brit, thank you so much for your blog, it has been immensely helpful!
As all regions are current, do you think the KCC will be spending the whole month on scheduling interviews? Or do you think 2NLs will only be sent in the second half of the month as per usual?
I received the “ready for scheduling” email on May 6th and my case no. is 2019OC6XX. I’ve been checking the ESC site multiple times a day but I guess I’ll be getting an Aug or Sep interview as July interviews would already be set. Right?
June 3, 2019 at 20:03
Usual.
July is already set, so no need to check until 2NLs are sent in the latter part of this month.
June 3, 2019 at 18:19
Hullo brit
was inquiring how long does KCC take to process the documents after they have sent you an email for further DV documents needed & you have sent them immediately when you receive there email
June 3, 2019 at 20:02
Just a couple of days typically.
June 4, 2019 at 14:56
HAVE YOU CONFIRMED FROM THEM
June 4, 2019 at 12:57
Hi Brit! I,m from Africa my case number is 2019AF2XXX; i came from my interview today and just 3 questions were asked to my wife and i: marriage dates, were are we going to live in USA and do we have a child; and everything was fine and at the end the consul has given us a paper that says we are not eligible to the dv lottery because we didn’t convince her that our relationship exists for other reasons than immigration purposes, she didn’t even ask for any photo or other relationship proof because we had photos, social media conversations from 2015, and other documents too. Also we are married since January 2018 before even the 2019 dv result be published. My questions are:1) what can we do because we have everything that prove our relationship is not for immigration 2) can we send a mail to the embassy or what. Please sir we need your help. We have answer to all the question correctly but….
June 4, 2019 at 19:03
That sounds unjust. I assume they must have some reason to doubt the documents you have provided. You could try to email the embassy asking them to reconsider, but they are not obligated to do so.
June 4, 2019 at 19:43
Oky thanks a lot Sir, we will let you know of any changes
June 6, 2019 at 02:18
Hi sir! We are still waiting i emailed the consular section and yesterday I was in my embassy I found out that we were not the only one couple that faced the same problem, so everyone who was interviewed to that consular officer got a refused so we are more than 20 person who are complaining about that and some officers from our embassy have suggested us to email the ambassador about this problem but we are not able to get the ambassador’s email address, let’s see maybe they can reconsider our cases. Thx a lot for your help
June 11, 2019 at 00:18
Hi Sir! This is the embassy’s reply about our case, thanks for your help we really appreciate that and we will submit the documents tomorrow as we submitted nothing before. We have searched our records and confirmed that the Consular Section of the US Embassy – Kinshasa, found [Name2] ineligible for a visa for DV 201X under section 212(a)(5)(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA): some family members were not included in the entry. The consular officer is awaiting submission of convincing proof that your relationship was not created solely for immigration purposes. If you have recently filed some evidence, pleasde be aware that they have unfortunately failed to change your case’s status.
So my point is that can we enclose a printed copy of this email? Thanks a lot sir for all.
June 11, 2019 at 00:25
You can do, yes.
Make sure you include everything that you feel would help your case. This will be your final chance.
June 19, 2019 at 11:42
Hi sir, we went to the embassy last week for submitting the proof and they told us to send them email requesting an appointment for submitting the proof, we emailed them requesting an appointment but today they replied they cannot do anything regarding our case, we didn’t even submit the proof that they requested us to do. What can we do please
June 19, 2019 at 14:15
I have no special trick. Keep trying. Maybe use a local lawyer.

June 7, 2019 at 07:42
Yes I send documents just 1 hour after the email
June 7, 2019 at 05:59

June 7, 2019 at 14:39
Not July, but maybe August or September. I assume you submitted the documents etc as discussed in the article above.
June 7, 2019 at 09:31
Hi Brit , I’m a DV 2020 Selectee from AF , i already submitted my DS 260 form.
upon reading on your blogs i see most people commenting that they were asked about their sponsors and the relationship between them and the sponsors .
I don’t recall being asked to fill anything about sponsorship in my form , could it be because i filled that i’m employeed ??
June 7, 2019 at 14:45
No. It’s because you have not read about public charge requirements.
https://britsimonsays.com/all-about-public-charge-affidavit-of-support-i-134/
June 11, 2019 at 06:06
thanks Brit , so for my case i have enough saving which exceeds the stated amount in your article , not to talk of my social security funds from home that i will claim after i confirm my departure.Do i still need to indicate a separate sponsor or just carry proof of my saving in the interview ??
May God bless you for your support .
June 11, 2019 at 12:48
It varies by embassy, by CO and by case – so overprepare.
June 7, 2019 at 17:22
Hello brit. How are you doing? Please I have a worry. Kcc sent me this message today
“Records indicate you have submitted a complete and valid DS-260 application for each family member, and you have provided all required documentation to the Kentucky Consular Center.
based on the….” After i asked them about my case.
Please do you think after receiving this message today can i be scheduled for an August interview?
2019Af46xxx from Cameroon.
Thanks in advance
June 7, 2019 at 18:08
Probably September.
June 7, 2019 at 18:17

June 7, 2019 at 20:29
It is too soon to know.
June 8, 2019 at 01:06
HI BRIT I SEND MY DOCUMENT ON JANUARY 21, 2019, I RECEIVE MY APPROVAL ON APRIL 1, 2019, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I HAVE THE CHANCE TO RECEIVE MY DATE OF INTERVIEW IN AUGUST
June 8, 2019 at 02:55
Possibly.
June 8, 2019 at 17:57
Hi Mr.Brit,
just received the confirmation email
“Records indicate you have submitted a complete and valid DS-260 application for each family member, and you have provided all required documentation to the Kentucky Consular Center”
So one can send electronic documents to KCC through this email ID, [email protected] as I did as per KCC’s guidance when I called them. ( to make sure you may call them)I had some problems of sending documents to following email, [email protected].
Well my case no. 2019AS11×××, Hopefully expecting the interview schedule in mid August. Will it be?
Anyhow my worry is that I couldn’t obtain the police clearance from Botswana (2004-2006) I have sent the request to them with relevant documents almost a month ago by DHL ( tracking says delivered) But they aren’t answering any calls & not replying email either. Therefore I don’t know whether they will send it or not, if they do when will I receive.
So I was compelled to include a letter (mentioning above reasons why I couldn’t obtain it) with my other civil documents which I already sent to KCC.
Well If I don’t get it on time. Do you think it’s enough & it won’t be a problem at the time of interview.( I’m spouse of a principal applicant)
I know that I’ve tried my level best to obtain it. If I couldn’t, What will happen Mr. Brit? Please be kind enough to answer me.
Thanks.
June 8, 2019 at 19:42
Show the proof you have that shows what steps you took to obtain the police cert. It will then be up to the CO.
June 8, 2019 at 20:29
Copied. Ok thanks sir.
Any guess for my interview schedule? Is it possible in August?
June 8, 2019 at 21:06
September.
June 8, 2019 at 20:24
Hi,
May I know is it possible to unlock DS260 after I received the confirmation email once I submit all civil documents to KCC? Is there any deadline? Because I forgot to include my high school information ( school up to Advance Level – 12 years) But I’ve only mentioned my diploma study. Pls DON’T scold me sir…..?
June 8, 2019 at 21:09
At this point unlocking may be possible, but to be avoided if possible. So – go with what you have but take proof of schooling from age 12.

June 9, 2019 at 21:42
Did you read the article above – do that.
June 10, 2019 at 08:46
Hello Brit. Good morning from this end. Please I have a worry. While filling my ds260, i mixed up my surname and my given name. Instead of AB in surname and CD in given names, I put CD in surname and AB in given names. I received the ready for schedule message some few days back. My worry is
1. Will it be a problem at the Interview?
2. If yes, please what do you advise me to do? Should I contact kcc to unlock so that I can correct it or how should i proceed?? Am really worried.
Thanks in advance. 2019af46xxx from Cameroon.
June 10, 2019 at 17:18
Yes it could be a problem.
Contact KCC via email and ask if you can unlock and correct. They may say no, because you are being scheduled, in which case you will let the embassy know, and can at least show the embassy that you informed KCC.
June 10, 2019 at 12:08
And again brit while kcc sent me the ready for scheduling message instead of dear ABCD as on the 1NL, they wrote dear ACD without the B part on the ready for scheduling message. Please should that be a concern???
June 10, 2019 at 21:06
Aproved 21 maj.I am waiting for passport.still nothing…what to do?
June 10, 2019 at 21:21
Wait some more.
June 11, 2019 at 02:31
Hello BritSimon
This is for DV2019. My number is AF462xx.
I contacted KCC to check on my case and they keep saying that they are processing my DS260 (was submitted in 2018)
I’ve already sent them the remaining document as you highlighted in your post above. When I asked about them (if they are satisfied with the documents) they said they can’t reviewed the document until they complete processing the DS260.
What should I do at this point?
Thank You for your guidance.
Nabil

You have to wait a week or two, then ask again.
