Thank you Brit. My brother had an interview today for AF11000. 2 weeks ago, he went to get a police clearance from Dubai where he lives and was taken by the police to jail for a house rent case he didn’t know he had. Obviously, he has missed the interview. What can be done to get a new interview date?
Secondly, if he pays the accumulated 2 years rents the landlord is asking for, do you know if the case will affect his police clearance certificate and consequently his Visa issuance?

I understand, but what is the trend we have been seeing this year? I’m only asking because you get input from tons of people and I was wondering if KCC is most doing this for show but then benching the interviews, or if it takes days, or maybe weeks? Again, there is no typical. About half the embassies are scheduling, others aren’t. 2NLs are going out on days other than the normal batches, but the volume of interviews is nothing like normal. Again NO USUAL.

And this year is a lot of visas thay remain aviable at the end of the fiscal year.
Do you think it could happen ??? That the END of the dv 2021 can be extended OVER 09.30.2021???

You are misunderstanding what that is about. It is talking about adding selectees (not visas, not extra time)- which would have happened LAST September/October, but of course that only happens when a year is underselected, so not DV2021.

I am from Cameroon with case number 2021AF23831. The visa bulletin shows that my case will be current in May. I am single and I don’t have a child. My DS 260 form was submitted in August last year. On the confirmation page which I recieved after submitting the DS 260 form, it states that I don’t have to send any documents to the KCC that I should prepare the documents and keep which I will take to the embassy on the day of my interview and i have not recieved any email from the KCC requesting for documents. I keep on seeing you telling people to send documents if they have not sent, please I need your help now because I am confuse if I am to send the documents or not.

Hello Britsimon, finally Nairobi Embassy received 2NLs for May interviews yesterday. Dozens of people up to Case number 2500 have received.
Am case Number 2121AF..500 range but yet to receive 2NL.
Submitted docs back in August, & got Congratulations, ready for scheduling the same month.
What could be the problem with my case having missed 2nL and am very low?

The answer to your last question is the important one. If they are not accepting interviews, then KCC won’t schedule them. Contact the embassy and ask them.

Finally it was so close for me. I had my interview scheduled for beginning of April by KCC but I just received today e-mail from Romanian embassy that because of COVID they had to cancel my interview.

At the beginning, you said that the anunciato case covered all dv2021 as plaintiffs.
Now, we don’t understand the mandamus litigation is doing now.

1. It will only be for named plaintiffs, yes.
2. The lawyers are choosing to believe what was said by “Charlie” recently. I think there is a significant risk that high case numbers will not become current, but no one can know for sure at this time. So – you have to decide whether to join the lawsuit or not. I cannot tell you what to do.

Log in to your DS260 page, and right at the beginning, where your DS260 shows “completed” there might be a button with “add applicant”. If not, ask the embassy.

Thanks sir, i have done and checked as you said but i could’nt see the “ADD BUTTON” at the beginning of my ds260 to add another applicant (my daughter). So far i have emailed the embassy but they said maybe i should check if i filled the baby’s information in my own ds260 form, that i already did too but i have not seen where to create the baby’s ds260. He is right to be scared if he didn’t provide a passport. But this is the first year we have seen this rule tested – so I don’t know what the outcome will be. It’s also interesting to me that he go scheduled at all.
