Greetings Brit
Need your help in this please
My cn is Oc 13##
I received an email from kcc on 5th may that they cannot umlock my ds 260 any changes that needs to be done can be at the interview. This gave me a ray of hope that I ll get my 2nl soon
But when i saw the ceac chart, the cn higher than me are ready for interview – till 3000 and my status shows at NVC.
Now my question is
1. According to ur experience, do I stand a chance for interview or it was a genric mail from kcc?
Was it a random pick by kcc that they skipped my number and sent ready status upto 3000.
May 18, 2021 at 04:08
You have a chance, yes – depending on your embassy.
May 18, 2021 at 03:42
Hello Mr Brit
I hope you are fine and thank you very much for all of you have done regarding DV cases.
My wife and I are both winners in DV2021 from Iran. We submitted DS-260 for our both cases (thank you for your kind previous comments), in my case, she is my accompany and we selected Ankara embassy, and in her case, she is the principal applicant and I am her accompany and we selected Yerevan embassy. We are in one lawsuit with my case number. I have two questions and and it would be highly appreciated if you could help me about them.
1-If both embassies invite us to interview, is it legal to go to interview in the two embassies because of our two cases? We want to use our both chances because of possible AP for Iranian men and time limitation.
2- We are in a lawsuit with my case number, is it legal to join to other lawsuit with my wife case number too? In fact, can we join to lawsuit with our two case numbers simultaneously?
Thank you very much indeed
May 18, 2021 at 04:09
1. Yes.
2. Ask the lawyers.
May 18, 2021 at 04:28
Hi Brit. Hope you are well. I made a mistake on my ds 260 form when filling out my education. Instead of saying I started university in 2015 I said 2014. What do I do as I have already submitted my form? Thanks.
May 18, 2021 at 16:52
Always give me case number (including year and region) so I can answer accurately.
May 18, 2021 at 17:49
Hi Britt. I’m DV 22 Winner with CN 2022AF00041XXX. Thanks.
May 18, 2021 at 22:21
OK – then you have a LONG time to wait – probably a year.
Unlock and correct your DS260 – read the FAQ
May 18, 2021 at 04:59
Dear Brit,
My dad is completing DS260 but he does not know if his father is still living or not. What should he choose? There is no “Do not know” option, only yes or no. (Btw He knows all other info about his father from his birth certificate).
Thank you.
Liana
May 18, 2021 at 16:56
Pick yes.
May 19, 2021 at 02:08
Hi Simon,
I’m 2021 dv winner awaiting interview schedule at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia US Embassy..thus far only 6 cases processed, anything we can do to expedite? thanks
May 19, 2021 at 03:57
The whole world is asking that same question. The lawsuit I described a couple of days ago is the only realistic expedite solution.
May 19, 2021 at 10:59
Hi Brit
I have been selected in dv 2022, all documents for me, my wife and kids are OK.
My wife is my cousin in her birth certificate her mother name is Amna Ahme Amin
In mine (birth certificate)My mother name is Maha Ahmed El Amin
Both birth certificates are legal certified from foreign affairs, if i want to change this to same it will take may years between courts to remove this El from her mother grandfa or ad El to my mother granfa name
1, IN DS260 won’t this be strange and affect our applications
2, is passports, birth certificates,… for our fathers and mother’s required to submit.
Many people advised me it would not affect
but I need advice from expert
Thank you
May 19, 2021 at 19:08
1. No because they won’t be expecting you to be cousins.
2. I don’t understand that question.
May 20, 2021 at 07:34
Thank you for replying
2- Does the embassy require parents ’passports in interview
May 20, 2021 at 20:24
No
May 18, 2021 at 05:04
Hi Mr. Brit,
Trust you are doing well.
I have completed DS-260 forms but at the Review section I realized that the question (Is your mother’s address same as your father’s?) appears to unanswered yet cannot find that question when I go back to edit/ update. How do I rectify this?
I will greatly appreciate your response.
Regards,
Abdul
May 18, 2021 at 18:29
I don’t know – normally that would just be a checkbox – but really it is not important, so if the form is now locked, no need to unlock to fix it.
May 19, 2021 at 20:07
Thank you for your response
May 18, 2021 at 19:37
Dear abdul kadir
I faced same thing
When I saw it is unanswered I reviewed the screenshot that I took from every page of the form but there was not any quistion like that so I found that this might be a thecnical problem from the application not our fault
May 18, 2021 at 06:03
Hi Simon,
I’ve submitted a reused photo for all of my family members in DV2022 and I have been selected, photos are even same photos I used in my previous US H1/2 visit visa,
1- how will this affect the acceptance in the CO interview?
2-Is any chance to rectify the situation?
3-If I get disqualified because of this, will it affect the current and future visit visa?
I wish all the best for you. Thanks
May 18, 2021 at 18:33
1. It was unwise to ignore the instructions, but if the photos are recent, they may ignore the error.
2. No
3. No
May 19, 2021 at 07:49
It is a big unwise, I admit.
Actually the appearance has not been changed for me and my wife at all, but my daughter was 4 and she is 8 yrs now.
1- How much percentage do you think they will proceed?
2- Do you think the interview location makes different?
3- Is KCC can decide to disqualify me without interview?
Thank you again
May 19, 2021 at 18:21
1. I don’t have a way to calculate a percentage.
2. I don’t know.
3. No
May 18, 2021 at 06:23
HI , Brit,
I am selectee of DV2022. My case number is AS206xx, is there any chances to take an interview?
the chance is high or low?

May 18, 2021 at 18:33
It is too soon to know anything about that.

Thank you for taking your time to answer my question.

The embassy don’t know anything about you until KCC schedule the interview. You can ask KCC. Have you received the ready for scheduling email?
May 21, 2021 at 13:43
Yes. I received the Ready for schedule email on ‘Date: 3/8/2021’
May 22, 2021 at 00:26

Dear Sir
My case number is 2022AS1XX. I am an Indian national, born in Saudi Arabia. I have the following questions while filling DS-260 that I did not find answers to in your FAQ or comments.
1) My passport was renewed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia by the Indian consulate. Place of issue mentioned on passport is Jeddah. In the form under passport information, “country/authority that issued document” do I select Saudi Arabia or India?
2) My wife’s passport has no surname and only given name (FXXXX UXXXXX). While filling the lottery application it has said you cannot leave surname blank and to move first name to surname and mention NFN in given names. I did exactly that and while filling DS-260 I have filled given name as (FXXXX UXXXXX) while writing NLN in surnames to match passport. Is this OK?
3) I have travelled to India for a month’s vacation each year for the past 4 years. Do I mention this in addresses?
4) My wife has traveled 15 times for the past 10 years between India and UAE. She stayed in each country from 15 days on a few occasions while 5 months on other occasions. The addresses for both countries are the same. Do I have to input the same addresses multiple times as per the travel dates?
Hoping for your kind reply.
Thanks in advance.
May 18, 2021 at 21:41
1. That would be India.
2. Maybe. I am not familiar with that type of issue. The CO will decide.
3. No
4. It sounds “significant”, so you can decide for yourself whether to add that travel history.
May 18, 2021 at 11:20
Hello Sir,
Thanks for all the information you have give thus far. I am a DV 2022 winner and I would like to ask if there is a problem if I fill ,in the education part, with certificate rather than degree or diploma for high school.
May 18, 2021 at 21:45
Complete the DS260 listing all education since age 12.
May 18, 2021 at 11:34
Hi Simon, Thanks as always for quick replies. For DV2022 CN AF15xxx based in Kenya.
1) I lost my original High school Diploma but i have a copy. The issuing office says they cannot give me another original, but will fax or courier a verified one. That means i will only have a copy to the interview, Will this affect my outcome or its OK? How should i respond when they ask for my original diploma.
2) With this case number, usually when do they get interviewed?
Thanks a lot.
May 18, 2021 at 21:47
1. That will be OK.
2. Early next year probably.
May 18, 2021 at 11:49
Hi Simon. Just wondering, and I’m aware I am probably overthinking things, but should I be sending both my passports (bio data page) to KCC or just the one from UK (birth country). I applied through my husband’s birthplace (as UK not eligible) for which I also have a passport. The same goes for our son, he also has two passports.
Thank you.
May 18, 2021 at 21:48
Provide both.
May 18, 2021 at 12:05
Hello Simon, do i need to mention in ds260 that i was arrested once 13 years ago, even if the charges were droped and there was no convicton, and case didnt even went to a real trial? thanks in advance!
May 18, 2021 at 21:48
what is the exact question you are answering?
May 18, 2021 at 23:23
13. Security and Background: Criminal
“have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime…”
May 18, 2021 at 12:12
hi simon;
In which order are we gonna be interviewed?
1.case number order.
2. ds 260 submission date order

Hi simon I’m Sudanese living in Turkey and was born in Saudi Arabia, i choose my country of eligibility as Sudan,i was selected, can i claim eligibility on the fact that my parents were born there? Do i have any chance although Saudi Arabia is eligible?
May 18, 2021 at 21:54
You have grave risk. The ability to charge to the country of your parents is normally where your country of birth is ineligible and your parents were only there on a temporary basis. So – you can proceed if you want, but they might disqualify you at interview and you will lose the fees you spend.
May 20, 2021 at 02:43
Would you have any advice on the type of documents people usually provide to proof the status of their parents ( people who are born in ineligible countries i mean) other than their birth certificates , and visa document , since it’s my only way I’m going to take my chances.
May 20, 2021 at 20:04
The proof varies depending on the circumstances, so use your own judgement.
May 18, 2021 at 13:52
Hello Mr. Brit. I am dv21 winner. During registration and ds260 I choose education degree “University, no degree’. During that time I was studying. But later I did not continue studying at uni. I took some courses from uni. Will it be a problem at the interview?
May 18, 2021 at 22:08
No
May 18, 2021 at 14:13
Hi Simon, my case number is 2022AF00029XXX. I have a son which i can’t remember if i included in my DV lottery entry application last year because, i have been playing a lot over the years and sometimes I play without my son. i signed into the DS-260 using my case number and under applicant information, I am the only applicant below (Principal Applicant). Does this mean if I didn’t play with my son. Or is there any other way to verify this before i strategically proceed?
May 18, 2021 at 22:08
It suggests you lied, yes.
May 19, 2021 at 12:05
UNDERSTOOD BritSimon and thank you for your patience. Also my passport expires in 3 months but i have a new passport. When completing the ds-260 form
which passport information do i include?
The new passport ? OR
The old passport i used to play the dv lottery in october 2020 which expires in 3 months?
May 19, 2021 at 19:18
You complete the DS260 with the new passport, and when sending documents or attending the interview you provide old and new passports.
May 18, 2021 at 15:13
Hello Brit. Pls where can I know about dv2022 results update? I want to know if Africans have been selected because like up to 20 people I know that applied were not selected.. Then I want to know if the selection is in batches. That is if one can still be selected after the first day of releasing results. Sorry to bother you. Thanks
May 18, 2021 at 22:12
Of course Africans have been selected. But the chance of selection is around 1 in 200.
All the selectees are chosen in one go. Sometimes (rarely) they add a small number of additional selectees around September – so you can check again one more time in October.
May 18, 2021 at 15:33
Hi Brit,
Hope you’re doing well.
I was just wondering. Does anyone know what triggered KCC’s slowness?
I got a generic answer from KCC on May 17 to an email I sent on April 26. It took them 3 weeks.
I used to get responses within 1-2 days. Last time they were (relatively) quick with me was in March: I asked them to unlock my form, which they did 4 days later (and I thought that was slow… lol).
Did something specific happen (like… I don’t know… did various KCC employees get fired or something?)? Or is that something the lawyers will investigate? I mean there must be a reason…
Or maybe I should get on with life and stop obsessing over this.
Best regards to you.
May 18, 2021 at 22:14
KCC reduced staff levels during the Covid shutdowns. The presidential proclamations were blocking most applicants, so KCC didn’t process documents, that built up a backlog, and now most embassies are on reduced capacity or completely closed. So – the whole system is damaged.
May 18, 2021 at 17:12
Hello Simon,
DV2021 selectee here. We completed DS 260 in July’20 and after not hearing back from KCC sent in the documents in early April. We received the standard notification saying that the documents have been received. Today we received an email from KCC with their standard request for documents so I’m not sure if we should send the documents again or let them know that we’ve already sent them? Also, after we sent the documents we emailed KCC several times asking to change the location of the interview since our embassy officially said that they are not interviewing people, but KCC never responded. What’s the best move for us at this point in time? Our case number is EU00019XXX.
Thank you for your help!
May 18, 2021 at 22:18
Really at this point it is a matter of doing what you think is best. I don’t have a way of guaranteeing they are working on your case.
May 18, 2021 at 17:31
Hi Brit,
Hope you are doing well.
My question is, We’re (my family) DV2022 winner.
Only our son is holding both nationalities (Turkish and USA) because he was born in USA.
In this case regards to my son, how am I going to fill out DS-260 for my son because he is holding both nationalities? Do I need to indicate anything? Is there anything I shouldn’t do?
On DS-260 Form “Personal Information 2” Page;
Q: Country of Originin ( Nationality)
Q: Do you hold or have you held any nationality other than the one you have indicated above?
Have you ever encountered such a question before?
Thank you and Best Regards,
Ben
May 18, 2021 at 22:20
1. Your son is a citizen. You add him to your DS260, but you don’t complete a DS260 for him, and you select the option to say he will not emigrate with you.
2. Yes of course.
May 18, 2021 at 17:39
Hi Simon,
Still I cannot access the DS-260 since I get the following error on the page ? Do I need to contact KCC ?
“Your request cannot be processed at this time.”
May 18, 2021 at 22:20
Try a different browser.
May 18, 2021 at 17:54

May 18, 2021 at 22:17

Wanted to ask when did you send your documents to KCC? coz on my side it’s been 5 months without a document confirmation email from KCC. Thanks
May 19, 2021 at 02:32
Hello RC, I sent my documents on the 28 of March 2021
May 19, 2021 at 14:20
My case number is AF32*** which was current in the visa bulletin for May 2021, yet no email from KCC requesting for documents
May 19, 2021 at 19:36

May 18, 2021 at 22:22

2. Ask Curtis Morrison
3. No
May 18, 2021 at 18:28
Hi mr Simon
I have a question about ds-260 where asked:
“Can you speak and/or read language other than your native language?”
What is the best answer to this question for me that is fluent in Persian and Kurdish and intermediate in english and turkish?
Of course my interview will be in persian because im from iran
So what is your suggestion how can i answer that?
May 18, 2021 at 23:24
“Yes”
May 19, 2021 at 07:57
Do I have to explain how much I know about each one?
May 19, 2021 at 18:44
Not normally.
May 20, 2021 at 04:09
Sorry Mr. Simon just for my own comfort my level in English and Turkish is basic or beginner, However, do I still need to mention these on the form?
May 20, 2021 at 20:10
You decide.
May 20, 2021 at 04:32
Of course, I need to mention, I thought I was intermediate in these two languages(English, Turkish), but when I took the leveling test yesterday, I realized that my level is beginner. Considering this, do you think I should continue to enter these two languages as other languages or not? Please help
May 18, 2021 at 18:55
Hi Simon, Is Eritrea out of the trump travel ban imposed for immigrant. If you have any idea let me know or how could i know if it is out so i can continue processing my visa.
Thanks for everything you do..
May 18, 2021 at 23:24
It’s out of that ban, yes.
May 18, 2021 at 19:23
Dear mr Simon
I’m selected dv 2022 ,my case number is af323**
Their Is any chance to take interview?
May 18, 2021 at 23:25
Probably – but this year will be a question of how affected the process will be because of COVID.
May 18, 2021 at 20:15
The question “Have you traveld to any countries/regions within the last five years?”
is in the ‘Work/Education/Training’ section of the DS-260.
Does this mean that only business trips need to be mentioned here, or is this about all international travel?
May 18, 2021 at 23:26
The answer does not specify work only – so list all travel.
May 19, 2021 at 08:03
But, above the question about travelling was the instruction to provide only work/training/education related information. So we (2021EU6xxx) have only indicated business trips.
Do you think we should unlock our DS 260 and change this? But we have a low case number and the “ready for scheduling” mail. We are also Goh plaintiffs.
In the last five years we were only in Italy and Turkey for vacation trips. For Turkey we have a stamp in our passport. So it is obvious.
Thank you!
May 19, 2021 at 18:43
No – don’t unlock at this point, there are too many risks of not being scheduled this year – so just discuss it at the interview if asked.
May 18, 2021 at 20:16
Dear Brit. I am dv21 winner. During registration and filling the ds260 form I chose “University but no degree”. After then I did not continue studying because I had no time for working and also I did not like university courses and realised that the courses was not for me. I should had have done the university course this year (2017-2021) Also there were inputs in the ds form. But I have student status right now. Will it be a problem for interview?
May 18, 2021 at 23:26
No
May 19, 2021 at 10:04
We (2021EU6xxx) have only indicated our business trips into the DS260 form because above the question there was the instruction to only use work/education training related information. But now I read that this apparently is wrong.
Do you think that it is important to change this in the DS260 form and to indicate our vacation trips to Italy and Turkey (Turkey with stamp in the passport). I am afraid to endanger our chance for an interview if we unlock the DS260. We have a low case number and already the ‘ready for scheduling’ mail – also we are Goh plaintiffs.
Thank you!

Hi Mr Simon, I am one of the lucky winners for the year 2022 and my case member is 2022AF27xxx .
I am about to fill out the ds-260. Please assist me on the below
1. My mother leaves in USA and try to take me to usa before 21 years ago when I was 13 and we were asked a DNA test and what I remember is they started fighting about the payment and other issues in the middle of the process and stop the process. When ever I want to discuss with my father about it he doesn’t want to tell me the full story until he passed away before 12 years ago .my question is I check my passport and nothing on it so do I have to say yes on the question have you ever been refused u.s visa
2. for 21 years I never heard from my mother the only information I have is form some relatives she is alive in u.s at Texas Dallas. Is this information enough or do I have to say I do not know on the family information.
3. I was a volunteer to a local NGO that support HIV AIDS orphans before 16 years when I was 18 years old. Should I say yes on have you belonged to,contributed to or worked for any …
4. Lastly do you think my case member is high do I have a chance to interview
May 18, 2021 at 23:28
It sounds like you were not refused, but instead stopped the process. Use your judgement.
2. Say what you know.
3. Yes
4. It’s not bad.
May 19, 2021 at 19:43
Thank you very much
May 18, 2021 at 20:27
Hello, i have question about DS 260, i am studying in university and i am at final year. I will graduate in June but i want to submit ds260. Should i do ? Should i wait for graduation?
My case number is 30** and EU region. When i should submit?
May 18, 2021 at 23:28
Year?
May 18, 2021 at 21:03
Hello Brit
I received this email
Thank you for your inquiry.
Records indicate you have submitted a complete and valid DS-260 application for each family member, and you have provided all required documentation to the Kentucky Consular Center. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Please refer to the visa bulletin at https://travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month. Once an interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check dvprogram.state.gov.
1) what does that exactly indicate?( is there a chance that my case is being transferred)
2)do you recommend sending any further emails to kcc asking about interview scheduling since my embassy is open for dv
May 18, 2021 at 23:30
1. That means you are “ready for scheduling”. It does not mean you are certain to get an interview.
2. Yes, and you may need to consider the lawsuit I posted about a few days ago.
May 19, 2021 at 04:55
2.1 what do you suggest i should write in the email body?
2.2 im already a plaintiff in GoH
Appreciate all the help sir

How long can one wait in America before having a job and also if my employer is willing to allow me to work remotely just after I enter the US for a UK company, is it doable?
Thank you.
May 18, 2021 at 23:32
Yes – there are no rules about that.
May 18, 2021 at 22:33
Hello brit

Hi. Just trying to organise all documentation and I’ve just got a few questions please.
1) In relation to the Police Certificates (UK) – It states this should be obtained from ACRO (which is where I have sent request) but under the medical checklist it states ‘police certificate issued from ACPO. From what I can see the ACRO is the records office and the ACPO the association of Chief of Police. So basically, it’s just the one document I’m supposed to get. Can you please confirm this if you know as I just want to make sure.
2) We are requested to have immunization records but I’m not sure this will be able to be obtained for myself and my husband. Do you have any advice for this?
3) Also, I was wondering what the status is in relation the the health insurance. As far as I can see this is still on hold so is it something we can leave out at the moment or do you advise to still get this sorted prior to interview/arriving?
4) Lastly, in relation to funding etc. We have a US citizen completing affidavit in support form. Will this be enough or will they also ask us to show our bank accounts and any savings we have? If so, how much do you think would be a good amount to show if we already have the affidavit and most likely a job offer as well?
Thanks so much Simon. You’ve been and continue to be such a great help with all of this.

Hi Brit, DV 2021, On DS 260 form the marriage city is different from the original certificate by mistake. But with the same date and country. How shall I proceed? Thank you.
May 19, 2021 at 03:59
Don’t do anything to correct that. If it comes up at the interview (unlikely) you can talk about it.

Hello Simon. I used the same picture of mine (main selectee) for B1/B2 (Issued 10 Oct 2019) Visa and DV2021 Application (14 Oct 2019), this picture was taken 13 Sep 2019. Is it ok to use the SAME photo to apply different type of Visa?
May 19, 2021 at 03:57
Yes
May 19, 2021 at 03:52
Hello Brit, do I still have enough time to Adjust my Status? Thanks
May 19, 2021 at 03:56

May 19, 2021 at 18:20
1. The documents would not have changed – right? So no.
2. Possibly, I don’t know.
3. Yes, I understand your concern because LOTS of people will loose their chance. I suggest you take a look at the article I posted a few days ago about the lawsuits.

Hello sir, I am 2021 winner. I have made all the plans and I am traveling to US to do AOS.
Please I need a good attorney to complete my process smoothly, would you please recommend me some one.
Thank you
May 19, 2021 at 18:36
I don’t recommend using an attorney for DV related AOS. I do recommend studying the 7link below, especially the information linked from the first post in that thread.

Hello Brits, I appreciate the time you devoted in helping us . I have some question for. you pls .I once travelled to the states on a Non immigrant visa. And i returned after spending two months . I remember clearly that i couldnt specify correctly my mom’s date of birth nor place of birth while filling the DS.160 form. Since i dont remember what i put on the initial ds.160 form , Is that gonna be an issue if i specify on my DS.260 that i dont know my mom birthday nor place of birth just to avoid data inconsistency , or should i put the correct one now and explain to the consular when asked about it .
1.Do you think that could be affect me during the interview ?
2. whats your comment on 2022AF26k ? Thank you very much.
May 19, 2021 at 19:09
1. Just tell the truth. Really.
2. No predictions because there will be some impact of Covid.

Dear Brit,
My parent are currently in the US with asylum status. Should I indicate them in DS-260 application in the field of parents?
Thank you.

Of course.

Hi Brit! Hope you are well , actually I wanted to transfer my case from Kathmandu Nepal to Abu Dhabi UAE. My case is current in VB and I am DQ( documentarily qualified ). But not scheduled for interview. I am currently residing in UAE with residence visa. I first sent transfer request to KCC… but they didn’t change my interview location… instead sent formal reply. Then I sent the request to Abu Dhabi… They immediately asked me for a copy of residence visa….. Then I sent them the copy of residence visa. After that I haven’t got any reply from Abu Dhabi. Now what should I do next? why Abu Dhabi did not reply me after I sent them the visa copy? Will they request KCC to send my case to them? I want to know what is the Full process of case transfer? What shoud I do next……? please guide me.. Thank you!
May 19, 2021 at 19:13
It’s not technically a transfer until KCC have sent the case to one of the embassies. So – you have done all you can for now – and should now wait to see if you can get scheduled.

DV2020 cases would normally be long dead. The only hope you have is the possibility through the Gomez case – but the timeline or the outcome are not known yet.

Hi Brit, I made two minor mistakes on the DS-260, the first is related to the name of one of the employers. The second one is related to the address where the green card will be sent. For the second, I put the correct address of the person I know but instead of writing Virginia , I wrote Vermont. Are these serious mistakes? What should I do? Should I ask for unlocking the DS-260 or I can correct these mistakes at the interview? Many thanks for your help and advice.
May 19, 2021 at 19:19
The first is trivial, but the address in the USA is important. You can correct it at the interview, but make certain you do that.
May 19, 2021 at 12:54
Hello Brit
Kindly advice if i should contact KCC or the Embassy to schedule the interview. My case 2021AF6xxx is at NVC.
May 19, 2021 at 19:20
KCC schedule the interviews based on cases that have had their documents processed, and embassy capacity.

Hi Wanja,
Hope you don’t mind my asking, are you Kenyan??
Am asking coz i am Kenyan also with CN AF46XX and i too am yet to get my 2NL…
I got my “Ready for Scheduling of DV Interview” letter from KCC on 26th Oct 2020 and am still waiting for it. In March 2021 I sent an email to KCC and they promptly replied (after 4 days) they said am ready to be Scheduled – yet again – and i should note that they are scheduling Interviews following Case Numbers, so i should wait for my Email from KCC to access my 2NL once i am allocated a date.
See Reply below…
Thank you for your inquiry.
Your case number is now current for interview processing. Once the interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check https://dvprogram.state.gov. If you need to make changes to your DS-260 you should contact the consular section where you will be interviewed, or bring the information about your changes to your interview appointment. Because your case is ready to be scheduled, KCC can no longer unlock your application.
Hope my answer is of some assistance.
You too can email them, i hope you too get your reply soo and share with us. All the best.
Kind Regards,
Sueshi

Dear Brit,
I filled in and sign the DS-260 form. In the education section. I listed only the highest level of education (bachelor and master of science degrees). I also have a qualifying work experience (10 years in automotive engineering).
Do I have to re-open the DS-260 (asking to KCC) to include all education history? Or can I wait for the interview and bring all the documentation related there (both for education and work experience)?
Thank you!
May 19, 2021 at 19:32
If you are DV2021, then just take things to the embassy. If you are DV2022, unlock and correct the DS260.
May 19, 2021 at 19:37
I am DV2022. My case is 2022EU10xxx. Is it a low number? When do you think can be scheduled for an interview?
Thanks again!
May 19, 2021 at 20:19
It is a low number. I don’t know how interviews will progress.
