Many thanks to all those that are helping scraping. We are making great progress, I hope that we will finish AF regio in the next few hours and move on to other regions.
Click this link to learn how you can help. This task is easier the when more people help out.
We are already seeing some interesting results. In AF region there is significantly lower density than the last couple of years – meaning there are more holes. That is an encouraging sign, but we need to get the rest of the data to figure out what is going on. So – come on – get scraping if you can!

I am trying to check the max case I can in my spare time using this check system.it s easy to see holes issued nvc ready transit etc .realise that some of very low case number even lower than 2019af10 are still at NVC meaning not yet processed.i imagine two scenarios either some of those don’t even know they were selected,or have not sent ds260 or documents .i did already more than 300cases. Can these lower number not processed be a reason for a low VB as they might keep waiting for them each month.
January 5, 2019 at 14:21
The VB progress is based on the number of visa slots available and the cases that are ready for interview (DS260 processed, documents received). If those older cases complete those steps later, they will take some of the visa slots each month and could slow the later VBs, BUT many of them will never submit their DS260s.

I’m starting to get a lot of “failing to load new number” messages. Have to keep refreshing page. Could this be due to getting to the end of the AF cases?
January 5, 2019 at 12:23
About every 10 cases for me now…any idea what’s going on?
January 5, 2019 at 14:19
I’m not certain when that means. Xarthisius may comment later.

I saw that. I’m not sure what’s causing the connectivity issue yet. Load on the server isn’t that high.

Hi, i remarked when scraping the first cases(AF 0ver +200) that most of them still at NVC even if those cases naturally must be (not NVC ) means they didn’t submit their DS ?!
January 5, 2019 at 14:16
It means they did not get scheduled yet. If they are current, that is because they decided not to submit their DS260 yet (or perhaps never will), OR they submitted, but did that late OR they have not yet submitted the documents to KCC.

Was making good progress but now the page isn’t loading properly. Will try again later!

Hi Everyone, I agree that Brit said about AF, I solved a lot of cases and the holes are some much against to last year’s. If everyone works at the same time, you will see that how it will finish and we will see the result to predict something. If you wanna do some predictions about the interview month or current or something else please solve the captchas. Have a nice day for everyone
January 5, 2019 at 14:09
First, let me say thanks for the effort you have made on scraping. You have solved nearly 5000 captchas at this point – amazing! I will shortly publish a peek into the AF chart which shows clearly the holes. Knowing the holes is important to predictions, but also as we keep the data fresh throughout the year we don’t have to keep checking holes, so the effort gets much easier after this first pass. We are now scraping Asia, and we probably have passed the halfway mark globally.
