Simons I was for the Fiscal Year 2022 with a case number AF22XXX and filled and submitted my D-260 on 16th September, 2021.
Is it prudent to send all my documents to KCC or due to the Pandemic there is a general delay in the process?
February 17, 2022 at 1:21 pm
They do not require the documents to be sent to KCC now.

Hi Brit,
I was selected for green card lottery for 2022 EU 24*** while in the US. I had to make changes on my DS260 last year and I was not able to save the changes, but I also got married to an US citizen. Now, my number is current and I’m not sure if I should apply for an adjustment of status based on marriage or diversity. What do you think?
February 17, 2022 at 2:00 pm
I can’t decide for you.

Hi Simon I had one confusion please tell me actually iam Afghan dv lottery winner 2022 but I had one illegal immigration from iran to Turkey in my passport there’s no exit stamp of Iran because I went illegally to Turkey then after 3 months I got deported from Turkey but I disclosed it in my ds-260 form so what you think this action or this illegal immigration crime would reject my dv case or it will ignored by officer is this important for officers?
March 6, 2022 at 5:34 pm
If it appears on the police report they might be concerned.

Hi Simon!
My CN 2022AF16*** ( Egypt)
Currently I’m living in Dubai, but I have selected Cairo for an interview in DS260, now my question is if my case number not issue in visa bulletin for Egypt I mean they stop before to reach my number, can I transfer to Abu Dhabi to continue processing my case.
Thank you
March 20, 2022 at 9:05 pm
Even if you transfer you are not current. But yes, if you can transfer, do that since Cairo is not working well.
April 14, 2022 at 10:53 pm
Hi Simon, I have submitted my DS260 awaiting visa appointment in Sydney. Case number in the 2000’s so hasn’t been reached yet. While I wait, do you recommend I transfer to Auckland for my interview as it sounds like Sydney is not working well either?
April 16, 2022 at 7:24 pm
If you have a way to transfer there, yes that would be wise. Auckland may refuse the transfer (you can ask them) BUT Suva is helping some Aussies – try them perhaps.

Simons I was for the Fiscal Year 2022 with a case number AF18156 and filled and submitted my D-260 on October 2021. I have not yet been scheduled I don’t know why .
April 16, 2022 at 6:37 pm
Many people are not being scheduled. It depends a lot on which embassy you are at. If you are at a good embassy you have a chance. If not, well you may have no chance.

April 16, 2022 at 7:24 pm

April 17, 2022 at 11:18 am

April 24, 2022 at 11:37 pm

April 21, 2022 at 9:34 pm
Simon kcc scheduled me interview 3 jun, I want to reassign my case to another embassy bc I can’t attend for family reason at that country so how many days probably it will take to reschedule my interview at the new embassy, will they schedule later or 3 Jun is there to attend thanks for your humble attitude.
April 24, 2022 at 11:38 pm
Changing to another embassy could add delay and risk.
April 26, 2022 at 9:08 am
Hi sir,
Been in India, 2010 to 2014 then went back for a year of 2015, then came back in india for for 2years 2016 to 2017
On my police clearance its only mentioned 2016 to 2017
Will this be an issue during the interview?
April 28, 2022 at 4:42 am
It depends on standards in that country – so I don’t know.
April 27, 2022 at 9:43 am
Hi Simon,
Greetings!
My case is AF42XXX and case when current since April and summitted DS-260 in JUNE. But have not been scheduled for interview. is it advisable to change my embassy now due to the fact that my home country is already scheduling interviews for cases with AF63XXX numbers?
April 28, 2022 at 5:03 am
I cannot advise you based on such vague details, and even with more detail you would need to make any decisions for yourself.

May 3, 2022 at 8:41 am
Hi Simon,
I am scheduled for my interview this coming month and the embassy had requested an i134 form be filled, but there has been a delay with my sponsor as they still haven’t finished filing their taxes. To be on the safe side wanted to know how much I should have in my bank account?
Thank you for your help
May 3, 2022 at 3:59 pm
There is no precise amount of savings that is considered a “safe” amount, but a minimum of $10,000 per person is about what you should be thinking.
May 8, 2022 at 9:06 am
Hi! sir
In Asia up to which number, case number has reached?
My case number is AS0028000. Do you think my Interview will be schedule in this month (May) ?
May 8, 2022 at 4:51 pm
I cannot guess what will happen in your case.
May 10, 2022 at 8:45 pm
Hi Simon, I’m Case number Af38k submitted Ds260 in August but no notification yet I don’t know why. I’m dam worried
May 10, 2022 at 11:39 pm
Because everything is a mess. Lots of people will miss out in DV2022. It mostly depends on your embassy and how well they are working compared to their backlog.
May 11, 2022 at 9:19 am
What does it mean when trying to access DS-260 and it says Your request cannot be processed at this time.

Hi , I was born in Germany but have 2 nationalities, Australian and German (one parent for each) but have lived in Australia since 6 months of age. I applied to the OC region lottery and won (I didn’t know about the where you are born criteria ). Am I now ineligible ?
May 15, 2022 at 8:26 pm
Yes you are ineligible UNLESS you were married to an Australian at the time of entry. By applying in OC region you massively increased your chance of selection, without justification, and the rules about that are inflexible.
