Hello, I have tried every option (diferents browser, pc and ipad, turn of the router,) to fill my solicitation but keep giving me the same error, says that the cant access to the page, when I click submit on the first page.
Any other recommendation?
November 4, 2019 at 16:42
Nope. Its busy with people completing the form late.

Hi, Brit! I have been trying to fill the form dv 2021 several times, but there was a problem with the website. And when I managed to do it at last I understood that I had filled the gap “In care of” with my address (street and number of the building) and in “Address line” with the number of my flat. I hate mysel. Is it a really big mistake? Is it a disqualification? Thank you for your reply.

Hi Brit. How do you solve a session expired error. Repeats even after clearing browsing history or starting afresh. Thanks
November 3, 2019 at 16:40
Use a different browser, try incognito mode.
November 3, 2019 at 07:39
Sorry hadn’t seen other guys had similar issues on Session Expired error even in October. Have read through their solutions, I tried Edge and IE but Edge Private worked for me. Thanks.
November 3, 2019 at 16:43
Good – that is like incognito mode.

Currently i’m seeking asylum in us, my questions are,
01. My last education is a 3months english program in college of staten island, NY and when filling entry form is it okay to put “some university courses”?
02. I have done my high school in my original country but failed one subject, i hope to complete my associate degree before 2020 end, if somehow i get selected associate degree is enough for AOS?
November 3, 2019 at 17:11
2. Enter. If selected you can look into education etc.
November 3, 2019 at 17:08
Hi Brit, I signed up with only one last name and not as it says in the passport. I have a problem with that? Will it be grounds for disqualification?

Me and my wife are in the US without documents all expired visas . Have been in the country for 15 and 12 years.
Have 3 children born in the US
My wife Has the only valid passport in the family
Dear Simon can we enter for visa as family or just my wife? Thanks
November 4, 2019 at 04:48
No one. You have overstayed your visas I assume, so you could not process your case in the USA or abroad.
November 3, 2019 at 19:49
Hi sir, please I didn’t put in the right of the expired date of the passport, it’s a problem thanks sir
November 4, 2019 at 14:32
Not as long as the passport is unexpired now.

Hi Brit, I experienced the session error, on multiple attempts to enter DV2021, using incognito & private windows etc. When my entry was finally successful, it was the only time I filled out the optional field for “In care of” under the address section. This was most likely a coincidence, but I thought I would mention it in case it may work for someone. Thanks.
November 4, 2019 at 07:44
Hello britsimon do you really think that the new rule add to this year which is passport requirment will be reversed to the next year.
November 4, 2019 at 15:05
I don’t know.
November 4, 2019 at 16:49
Hi, my passport number starts with a U followed by a space and then a bunch of numbers. Am I supposed to put U12345 or U 12345 with a space as my passport number?
Also, is there a way to check or edit my entry after submitting it? I’m paranoid that I’ve accidentally put “high school, no degree” as my highest education although I do have one. But I’m afraid there isn’t a way to check right?
November 4, 2019 at 16:59
1. As it is written on the passport.
2. No way to check

Also have the same issue for 2 days now…
November 5, 2019 at 09:47
Hi brit yesterday when i applying my entry iam used wrong address i wrote only the name but wich was incomplete some people said to me it is disqualifation does this affect my chance thanks
November 5, 2019 at 17:18
Hi Brit, waited till the last minute and only tried to submit the entry today. Literally spent the last 3 hours in front of my comp, continuous error due to heavy traffic on the site.
My question: Managed to submit my application AFTER the deadline (as I stayed on page 1 and kept refreshing). System provided me the submission confirmation and the confirmation number. However, it is stated that my entry was received on Nov 5, 12:07pm EST. Thus, will my entry be disqualified during the filter stage? Have u come across such a case?
I’m fine if they do, just curious…thanks!

HELLO, WITH THE SCARCITY OF PASSPORTS IN MANY AFRICAN COUNTRIES, ABOUT HOW MANY APPLICANTS SUBMITTED THE ENTRY FOR DV 2021?
November 11, 2019 at 16:08
The entry numbers won’t be published until May.
January 23, 2020 at 16:15
Hello BritSimon, any expert projections re: number of entrants for DV 2021 due to passport rule?

January 24, 2020 at 03:27
Super! I love the answer.
January 24, 2020 at 16:42
Well it was simple.
This event has never happened before and we have no access to any of the data until they publish it, so it is impossible for anyone to be expert in something that is happening for the first time, and there is no data available for a guess. Pretty obvious answer really.
January 24, 2020 at 18:05
No worries BritSimon. I am sure May 2020 will be full of particulars and hundreds of readers will be curious to discover what your blog says on the subject. I’ll be one of those people. I’ll watch this space.

You would need to show education that meets the requirement.
November 22, 2019 at 04:40
Hello to you BritSimon
Hope you are doing fine. I have a query. I was asking someone about the vocational courses on 0-net. Does it mean that someone can have work experience without high school education. I was arguing that someone must have some high school education with a training in a particular field where the US lacks people in a particular field but they dismissed me. Can you send a link that explains about the levels of education and vocational courses

December 19, 2019 at 20:17
I don’t have a solution.
She simply needs to deal with USCIS – if she cannot prove that the GC was not delivered to the address she gave them they will probably make her pay for a replacement.
