I would like to ask you a help question as a Dv2024 winner I do not have completed A/L s but have a University degree and qualifying work experience for 6 years and 4 years in 2 different jobs under O*net , my question to you is when i face the interview should i attempt to show the CO both my jobs will it cause any confusion? or will i show just the 1st Job that has higher points (svp 8) the other has (svp 7) to the co.
what i heard is there is a point at the interview where they ask you to select the job you want to prove your work experience in and having 2 qualified jobs is not common i guess.

They might just accept your education – but it would be wise to be prepared to prove you meet the work experience alternative requirement too. They should only consider the period of time 5 years before the interview, so that will determine which job you discuss (i.e. the most recent).

Regarding my work experience I am occupied in 2 qualifying jobs simultaneously so in this case can I show both jobs ? will the embassy give me an opportunity to present 2 jobs in that case?
additionally I have a new concern regarding my police clearance certificate I have obtained one which covers my period in my country from the time I was 10 years old.
The instructions on our local embassy state ” Embassy requires a Police clearance report that covers from the age of 16. While filling the application, you may request for a clearance “from birth”.
many people locally tell me that i need to amend it and get a clearance from birth or I will fall under 221g

Normally with jobs, one is the main job, and you generally list that.
Never heard of the police cert under 16, so I wouldn’t worry about that.

Please I need to asked and something.I was looking your material about when the child will turn 21 years And you calculated for dv 2024 the freeze time from 5 October 2022 to 7 may 2023 is 214 day.And my brother turned 21 in 6 June 2023.So I added 214 days and it looks he will turn out of age in 5 January. The visa bulletin for December is 6000 and my father’s case number is 2024EU000062XX so I think their case in January will be current,so if they will take an interview in January the chance to take a derivative visa for him will be real????Make sense or no?Or the need to apply for dv 2025?Thank you so much and God Bless You!

Yes if the case becomes current, from your calculation he would have a chance to include the 21 year old. However, there is no harm in entering DV2025.

Hi BritSimon how are you?Thank so much fir your time and all information you are giving to us.I saw visa bulletin for December 6000 ,I asked you before for my concern .My dad won dv lotery for 2024 and his number is EU000062XX ,he put my brother his son with him and my mom because my brother was 20 years old.And he submit the Ds 260 in May when my brother was 20.in June he turn 21 years old.I think they will have the interview in January or February you think my brother will have a chance to come here in USA with his parents in ten same time?If he will apply again for dv2025 now it will affect their proces or just to wait for Dv2024.Thank you so much and God Bless You and your beautiful family.I am in you website since 2018 you help me a lot with my case in 2019 .God Bless You .

It sounds like the child will age out in November or December, so cannot be issued a derivative visa.
Applying for dv2025 causes no problems

Do you still think that people with cases below 50k for EU region have a chance? I know you have mentioned that in one of your streams. I have an EU40k case number.
Thankfully I am doing AOS and haven’t submitted DS260.

Hi Simon, do you still think that the density in the EU region is 33%? I’m so confused on why the numbers are so low for the three bulletins in a row. Is there a possible explanation for all of it? Obviously, we can only assume… but do you think that there will be a significant spike in cases afterwards? I know we can only guess and assume, but just wanted to hear your viewpoint on this…

The density of cases is much higher in the lower number ranges for the three large regions. So slow movement means nothing about the density projections I made.
Slow VB movement in the early months results from rapid ds260 processing and or low capacity.
