May 12, 2015 at 00:42
so far what do u think about AS00011500 ??
IS IT FINE?
May 12, 2015 at 00:46
it has some risk. Let’s wait and see…
May 12, 2015 at 00:37
When are you planning to publish the new predictions based on current CEAC data?
May 12, 2015 at 00:44
I wait until after I see the 2NLs – in a week or two.
May 12, 2015 at 00:36
Hi brit my cn is af578xx after this vb i think i just moved from the safe area to become very risky am i right 🙁 ?
May 12, 2015 at 00:38
Sort of.
It is a complicated answer….
May 12, 2015 at 00:26
Hi Simon again,
Do I still have any chance with EU39xxx?
May 12, 2015 at 00:34
You still have a chance….
May 12, 2015 at 00:21
UGH!!!! VB slower than a turtle >.<
any change in thoughts about ASIA ,sir ?!
I feel they will exceed 12xxx ,and I also have a feeling it might go current in September (whole region).
PLEAAAAASE say I'm right .
May 12, 2015 at 00:31
YOu are not right – current won’t happen. 12XXX might happen…
May 12, 2015 at 00:41
Thank you sir,
Really don’t know what to think , especially after reading various replies about AS case numbers .. mine is late AS10xxx .. I HOPE your prediction about it is satisfying .
and if you have any ,please tell me ..
really can’t wait until the 2NL analysis .
May 12, 2015 at 00:44
And thank you for your hard work .. must be very difficult answering all people’s questions .
really you’re a good person, and give a nice idea about British people
Peace and love!
May 12, 2015 at 00:47
Thank you!
May 12, 2015 at 00:45
by the time I get the 2NL data I will take a close look at Iranian AP. That is a big clue about what will happen…
May 12, 2015 at 00:21
just thinking what brit. is doing at this moment, i belief that the introduction of the ds260 online is partly responsible for high case numbers missing out, a friend of my just found out she was seleted for 2016 so happy she came to me and told me about her success, i told her this ” right now 2015 af 52xxx cases are doubtful and some how hopeless so watch how it goes from now to july” her case number is af201653xxx so let see number with the hole than i can say her fait but for now i feel she is like any other person who is waiting for 2017
May 12, 2015 at 00:32
I CERTAINLY BELIEVE IT WILL BE HIGHER THAN 52xxx!!!
May 12, 2015 at 00:15
Hey mr Simon , good prediction for Asia .. however .. they put limit to Nepal sooner that you thought ,does that give hope for high AS CNs in the next VBs .. lets say 2015AS’11037 ? is it ever gonna make it or not 🙂 ?
Thank you
May 12, 2015 at 00:16
Yes having a limit helps higher CNs but I suspect this Nepal limit is not the final one
May 12, 2015 at 00:29
Please , how about my case number ?! (under these new circumstances).
May 12, 2015 at 00:35
It is hard to say for sure – you just have to wait and see….
May 11, 2015 at 23:51
Hello Brit!
So many questions poping in! What about Nepal this time? Aren’t you surprised? What do you think about the cn 745x?
Thank you.
May 12, 2015 at 00:24
I think the KDU embassy asked to limit the cases for interview because of the earthquake. I expect the limit to increase next month.
May 12, 2015 at 01:16
Can they reach my cn in next vb? Only one vb remaining for Nepal, right? And to hit the limit of 3500 from Nepal, kcc need to approach 7500. What arr your thoughts?
Thank you.
May 12, 2015 at 02:07
Why would they increase it? Last year they didn’t increase once nepal got limited, if they increase it then Asia wouldn’t have the jumps
May 12, 2015 at 13:57
Because I think this limit is due to the embassy capacity after the earthquake.
May 11, 2015 at 23:45
hi sir i’m very saad to see this vb
what do you think about my cn
is
48xxx africa
i think noow i confirme that i dont have chance and if i habe my chance is 1% to get interview good bye
my dream good bye usa
May 12, 2015 at 00:23
That would be very unwise to give up now….
May 12, 2015 at 00:25
what do you mean siir , i have chance to passe interview ?
when it will be ? pleaseee
May 12, 2015 at 00:33
Yes you have a chance – just wait and see what happens. AS to when well it can only be August or SEptember now!
May 12, 2015 at 00:43
but i’m from africa sir ?
how % i have chance please
cn : AF48XXX
May 12, 2015 at 00:46
I think you have an EXCELLENT chance.
May 11, 2015 at 23:42
Brit, i have some few questions to ask
1. What is the meaning of that statement “chargeable to all regions except those listed below”?
2. Now Ethiopia is no longer listed as except what is the meaning?
3. Is it possible all AFRICA CNs to be come current?? And has that ever happened??
4. How many VBS left?
5. With this CN 2015AF6044X any chance still or my dreams are being shattered?
6. Ethiopia: matches AFRICA means what in your information??
#InGodItrust# still nor matter the situation He can still turn things around.
Please your urgent reply. God bless you for your wonderful work you are doing.
May 12, 2015 at 00:23
1. Where do you see that phrase?
2. It means Ethiopian cases are now matched to AF number – 36500
3. No to current. It has happened before but will not happen this year.
4. 2 after today.
5. Some chance still but obviously there is some risk…
6. The same number for Ethiopia as Africa as a whole.
May 11, 2015 at 23:33
Do you think AS13,6XX will make it or hopeless?
May 12, 2015 at 00:19
Iran AP cases are what control that. I’ll try to work on that this week.
May 12, 2015 at 02:06
Does it look to be faster or slower than last year? I hope it’s slower… So Asia can get higher final cn
May 11, 2015 at 23:32
Come on Brit, please out think KCC! We need your input as to why AF was so low:(
May 12, 2015 at 00:19
AF was only 500 lower than I thought – which is a handful of cases going to backlog cases rather than new ones….
May 11, 2015 at 23:25
Brit I can understand you are also surprise about the vb so I guest you are trying to study the situation before responding to most of the post in here with my case number at af528xx I an seriously considering other options after a long wait which is trying to look like a Ido time to me. Good luck to all af winners that will make it to an interview
May 12, 2015 at 00:18
Well you obviously cannot “give up” with that number – so you just have to wait and see…
May 11, 2015 at 23:24
What do you think will reach at least until 40150 in Europe?
May 11, 2015 at 22:56
This is my Gmail ok [email protected] and good luck
May 11, 2015 at 22:57
ok you to
May 11, 2015 at 22:50
While EU and OC are just slightly off for YTD July vs. LY (EU 35,700 vs. 36,300 = -1.65%; OC 1,250 vs. 1,300 = -3.85%), this clearly is not the case for SA (1,175 vs. 1,550 = -24.19%), AS (6,850 vs. 8,900 = – 23.03%) and AF (36,500 vs. 56,300 = -35.17%). It is a rather fundamental change for these three regions, which can not simply be explained by changes in non-eligible countries, i.e. in AF, and is therefore calling for further analysis and a thorough explanation. Clearly, the significant reduction to just announced DV-2016 84,000 number has to be part of this very same fundamental change.
We know from last year how heart-breaking this process possibly can be and therefore wish everyone good luck and all the very best for the remaining two DV-2015 VB’s to come!
May 12, 2015 at 00:13
You are comparing case numbers – which are irrelevant. I have already explained why AF region numbers are not the same because of Nigeria exclusion. Likewise I have explained the change in entries between Nepal/Iran/ROA. SA has had political issues.
It is also true that the DS260 introduction has had an impact – again that I have discussed at length. But – comparing case numbers is far too simplistic.
May 11, 2015 at 22:46
So happy for Egypt do you thik it is going to continue for next month?!
May 12, 2015 at 00:10
I expect Egypt to max out next month.
May 11, 2015 at 22:38
plz brit do u think if i contact kcc by email about if my case number 56400 will have chance for interview they will answer me about ???
May 12, 2015 at 00:09
Of course not – they don’t know.
May 11, 2015 at 22:20
Do you think SA 168x has a real chance?
May 12, 2015 at 00:06
That is risky – we can only wait and see.
May 11, 2015 at 22:03
Dear Simon,
I am from SA and became current on the July bulletin. Should I expect my interview in July or in September?
Thanks
May 11, 2015 at 21:32
hi brit! can you please tell us clearly and without doubting if we can still hope for any interview CN: AF495*0 I am loosing my life by waiting I can’t stand it anymore! I noticed that you usually respond to EU or ASIA cases! tell us the truth please,we’re fed up! is the US doesn’t want black people or what?
May 12, 2015 at 00:31
Please don’t be silly about the USA not wanting black people and please take note that 70+% of my communication is to AF selectees and I don’t choose to respond to based on their region – I TRY to respond to everyone!!!
YOu have a chance still – now you just have to wait and see what happens.
May 12, 2015 at 00:33
WOWH!
May 11, 2015 at 21:29
AS67XX from Nepal. Does this mean that they are going to limit Nepal at 6475? Or is it because of the earthquake they decided to slow down this month? Any thoughts?
May 11, 2015 at 21:23
do you think AF42xxx is 100% safe
May 12, 2015 at 00:29
YES!
May 12, 2015 at 16:09
thank you
May 11, 2015 at 21:22
there is no hope anymore
May 11, 2015 at 21:08
Gosh!!This is so bad for people with high CN, what’s wrong with KCC? I am so disappointed!!!!!!!!
May 11, 2015 at 20:58
Dear Simon,
I want to thank you for your great works. I’m Hesam from Iran with CN 82**. Do you think if I may be current in the next bulletin for an August interview? I mean, may do the next visa bulletin have a jump about 1400 to 1500 cases for Asia?
And may do Iran subject by cutt-off this year?
May 12, 2015 at 00:02
It can jump that much for sure. Iran won’t hit a cut off, no.
May 11, 2015 at 20:55
Brit have i be worring to eu 37 k ?
May 12, 2015 at 00:01
No – that should be OK
May 11, 2015 at 20:52

May 11, 2015 at 21:42
And what do you say to them
May 12, 2015 at 00:00
All we can do is wait and see….
May 11, 2015 at 20:47
Hi Simon, I’m just wondering when the backlog is going to reduce for Africa, it’s still in the 80%!! Do you think that we’re going to see it in the 60% or 50% next VB? and also does it mean that Ethiopia is current now and that they won’t take any interview slots for the next VB?
May 12, 2015 at 00:00
The backlog continues to plague the numbers…. I don’t think there will be a sudden stop next month!
May 11, 2015 at 20:45
Hi Mr Brit do you think will be hope for SA1700 to SA1750?
May 11, 2015 at 23:59
THat sounds like risky numbers given where we are now….
May 11, 2015 at 20:42
Nepal got a limit this month!!! That’s why except Asia, other regions have progressed way too low this month.
May 11, 2015 at 23:59
THat is the complete reverse of what happened. Nepal being limited allows AS to go further than it would otherwise have gone. This is probably because of the earthquake.
May 12, 2015 at 07:00
Hi
It look, Iranian can be more comfort during lottery process.
May 11, 2015 at 20:39
Hello there,
As to DV 2016—-
So, 91,563 selectees for DV 2016.
In Asia, 15K total. (Iran-4500, Nepal -3800)
Am CN AS00011XXX (rest of Asia) should I be optimistic , at this point?
Thank you
May 11, 2015 at 22:12
Where did you get these numbers from? does that mean there are 15000 cases in DV2016 for asia? Sorry to hear that you got a higher CN, means asia should have around 16-18000 case numbers for DV 2016
May 12, 2015 at 00:04
There are 15002 selectees for ASia – this is published in the latest Visa Bulletin.
May 12, 2015 at 06:30
The numbers are taken from the last VB.
I’m a bit confused , reading your reply—-
I’m aware of my high CN (11XXX) however, you predict max CN to be around 16-18XXX, dont you?
Doesnt it put me ina a reasonable place in the queue?
May 12, 2015 at 13:17
No – I have never said that 16 to 18XXX range.
May 11, 2015 at 23:58
be a bit cautious….
May 11, 2015 at 20:39
Good job Mr.Brit..
(So – my predictions for the next VB (July interviews) are as follows.
AF – 37XXX to 39XXX (i.e. not going over 40000).
EU – 37XXX to 38XXX
AS – 66XX to 67XX
SA – 1150 to 1300
OC – 1250 to 1300)
May 11, 2015 at 23:57
I was too high on AF and EU (by 500 and 1300). However, it is sad to see the numbers this low….
May 11, 2015 at 20:36
Pfff
May 11, 2015 at 20:32
AF 51xxx still there chance?
May 12, 2015 at 00:29
Yes!
May 11, 2015 at 20:32
af593XX any chance to get an interview??
May 11, 2015 at 20:31
Eu37200 is risky now to low this mouth
May 11, 2015 at 20:19
Do you think SA 16xx has any hope?
May 11, 2015 at 20:32
Some hope yes.
May 11, 2015 at 20:37
I asked in immigration.com as well…ignore that post please. Thanks for your reply.
May 11, 2015 at 23:03
Mr Brit, tell us. what hapen for this dv?
May 11, 2015 at 20:18
Now sir what is your think about Egypt 289** is there any hope?
May 11, 2015 at 20:24
Like I have said for a long time there will most likely be a cutoff for Egypt – so you will have to wait and see…
May 11, 2015 at 21:20
So you think that Egypt will max out and stop in August or there will be September interview for Egypt
And can you think if kcc will add 2000 for Egypt next Vb
May 11, 2015 at 20:17
CURRENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May 11, 2015 at 20:23
Congrats!
May 11, 2015 at 20:14
Yessss. I’m AS 67xx. Finally it’s my turn!! Thank you Brit for the information!
May 11, 2015 at 20:23
Congrats!
May 11, 2015 at 20:13
Indeed, it is low for EU! Simon, one question: for August and September, will they continue to call per month, or are they going to call all the remain DV all together (from 35700 to 45000) for the last 2 months?
May 11, 2015 at 20:22
THey will call per month – I think this confirms there will not be current….
May 11, 2015 at 22:51
What will be the highest CN for EU then? It seems low cns have responded and the responce rate will now be around 50% for u2 and 55% non u2. Total 50%. Up to 60% total rate the highest cn can be 40***. Do you agree Simon?
May 12, 2015 at 00:15
I already gave my EU final range and I think that is looking about right. Once the 2NLs go out we will look to see what happened with response rate – but as I have said before we have to use the non U2 rate.

Hi Brit. Where can I find the EU final range you gave?
Thanks
May 12, 2015 at 13:06
https://britsimonsays.com/dv2015-analysis/
I said 38XXX to 41XXX – but the article explains my thinking.
May 11, 2015 at 20:13
Pfffff why??????????? My number almost 52000AF this is not good
May 11, 2015 at 20:12
Wow Brit, so obviously there were more than 800 cases that were backlog. Doesn’t look like they are progressing much? Is AF52xxx still going to be safe. Beginning to stress!
May 11, 2015 at 20:22
I understand… this is very low – we can only wait and see…
May 11, 2015 at 20:34
Do you think like in years bf, the numbers are really low then go current? Do you think this is possible with the data you have?
May 11, 2015 at 23:56
No.
May 11, 2015 at 20:10
SA 17xx…will it COME?
May 12, 2015 at 00:28
We can only wait and see
May 11, 2015 at 20:09
It is Tooo LOW for Africa. What about 2015AF54xxx?? Have I any hope for my number to be current by September???
May 11, 2015 at 20:08
Hi Simon! First of all thank you for your effort and your kindness and patience answering everyone questions, which I have a couple:
1. When your CN is current and your DS-260 is processed I understand that you receive the 2NL. You check the ESC webpage and what do you get? Directly your interview date? Or do you have to apply for a date?
2. Do you think that this year DV2016 reducing to just 84,000 selectees is going to have any negative effect?
3. I have read you that you recommend to wait a couple of months to send your DS-260 application, for a person with a normal CN (let’s say jan/feb current number), when do you recommend to send it?
Thank you again for everything, Simon!
May 12, 2015 at 00:28
1. You see a leter with the exact appointment date and time.
2. We now know it is 91500 selectees – that is very sensible and good news, not bad.
3. Not immediately – wait a month or two from now.
May 12, 2015 at 07:16
Thank you!
May 11, 2015 at 20:02
Wow that’s low for EU!!!! It will be interesting how this year moves on …
May 11, 2015 at 20:01
OMG .. speechless !!
